The golf community isn’t very fond of Sydney Sweeney at the moment.

Earlier this week, Sports Illustrated revealed that Sweeney is on its December cover alongside Hall of Fame boxer Christy Martin. A biopic about Martin’s career was released in theaters this past November. Although the film didn’t make a ton of money at the box office, Sweeney has received praise for her performance as Martin.

Sweeney actually suffered a concussion while on set for “Christy.” Nonetheless, shooting that film was an experience she’ll never forget.

“I don’t usually write a lot in my captions but this movie and experience I feel needs more than just a few words,” Sweeney wrote on Instagram. “We have wrapped filming Christy Martin’s story and it has been one of the most emotional, transformative experiences of my life. Christy’s journey is so deeply inspiring, and having her by my side during this process was nothing short of surreal. There were moments on set where I’d glance over at her standing by the monitors, cheering us on, and I’d just become so emotional. Knowing what she’s endured, what she’s pushed through to be there in that moment—it made me want to cry.”

As part of her interview with Sports Illustrated, the “Euphoria” actress was asked to name her favorite sports. She declared her support for the NHL and UFC.

On the flip side, Sweeney made it known that she’s not a fan of golf. It’s currently her least favorite sport.

The official social media account for the PGA Tour responded to Sweeney’s take with one of her own memes.

It’s been an eventful year for Sydney Sweeney.

Sweeney was at the center of controversy for her partnership with American Eagle. The outrage surrounding her “great jeans” campaign has finally died down but it got ugly at times.

Despite all the backlash online, Sweeney hasn’t allowed it to impact her. She’s still traveling the world and enjoying marquee events, including the NASCAR Cup Series Championship.

Judging by her recent comments though, we don’t expect to see Sweeney at a PGA Tour event anytime soon.
