My School Project (ft. Donald Trump Jr. and Bryson DeChambeau)
Okay, take two. It’s a great tool, but it comes with a lot of hate. Yeah, we’re going to get into that right now. Oh, I cry every second about it. No, I’m I’m kidding. So, how do those things you read or see about yourself in the media affect like your mental health? You have to love what you do and you have to believe in it. Our articles uh would have disagreed with that. So, nurture versus nature. Nature versus nurture. That’s what I’m getting to. Exactly. Back to business. We’re so for our psychology project um we’re going to interview athletes and we’re also interviewing my dad right after funny just about the mental game um mental side of golf and obviously the social media pressure that comes with what you do and what I do and what my dad does. How do the things you read or see in yourself in the media or about yourself in the media affect you mentally? Oh, I cry every second about it. No, I’m I’m kidding. No, I I mean for me it took a little while to understand why they’re saying it, what they’re saying. Uh essentially why they’re saying it. Um that’s a whole long conversation, but honestly, the more criticism that comes my way, like the more I respect and appreciate it from people and go, okay, you know, they don’t they may not like that, you know, I’ll try to do my best to stop that and whatnot and I actually learn from the criticism. So I take it in as as constructive criticism now rather than people demeaning me and it’s like oh no okay I can’t do that or I’ve got to do this in a different way or I’ve got to act in a different way uh be received in a different way you know that that’s something I’ve had to learn over the course of time and it’s not easy right like you’ve got to walk through that fire and experience it a little bit and go all right they’re saying this but I’m I’m I’m stronger than that I can hold this I can take that and and become better from it. Yeah that’s the way I perceive it. No I I agree with you and it’s same for me. So, all right guys. So, we have my dad who you guys I don’t know who you guys if you guys know him at all. It’s not a famous famous person or anything like that. He’s just a normal normal dude. A regular dude with 15 million followers on Twitter. So, maybe I know a little bit about social media. Honestly, I’m I’m a little blessed. I have uh a lot of the Trump jeans which is like, you know, I I don’t care. I honestly I the hate actually motivates me, which is really bad to say, right? It’s but it’s true. It’s like for me, I was blessed uh maybe my superpower is just not really caring what other people think of me. But but that breaks so many people. I mean, you know, I see it, you know, where I get hit and hurt in social media is when I see them attacking you. Yeah. You know, you’re 18-year-old girl. You you created, you know, a great business. You’re out there with a massive following and people and it’s just hate and hate and hate. And as a dad, you know, that bothers me, frankly, much more than when they come after me. When they come after me, I’m like, “Excellent. This is this fuels me. I like it. Like that. But but that is not normal. And I’ve seen plenty of people who are, you know, really smart and, you know, good speakers and this and they they get a little bit of that criticism and it literally breaks them. You see them get on the stage and the next time you’re like, what what happened? Like you’re a different person. Well, you know, you you can’t let you know the comments from the peanut gallery affect who you are. Uh you know, whether it’s politics or or anything, but especially you online, like you have to be authentic. If you’re real, they may not like you, but they still respect you. uh even if they don’t like you, they understand that you’re effective. And when you see people flip-flop and, you know, they change their opinion based on the views of others, but not for any real way, but only because they’re getting influenced by the hate campaign, not the truth. Uh that’s a problem. People see that weakness and they don’t respect it. They stop following. People ask me all the time, you know, who does your social media? It’s like, well, do you see my social media? Do you think I could actually pay someone to do my social media? Like, you you’d be sitting on eggshells all day waiting to get fired because who would post some of this stuff? Uh you got to be authentic. And if you do that again, you can turn it into a very powerful tool, but it’s not as easy as everyone thinks. And you know, I think you see that. Yeah, it’s not. One question we asked both Don and Bryson was, how do the things they see in the media about themselves affect them mentally? And uh most of our sources found that this would negatively affect their mental health. For example, the constant scrutiny would cause maybe insecurities, stress, even depression, stuff like that. However, both Bryson and Mr. Dawn said that they actually appreciate the criticism. They said it either motivates them or they take it as constructive and try to learn from it. So, their answers did significantly vary from what we would have expected from the sources. Well, my dad has obviously grown up in the public eye. Um, and then Brighton has entered the public eye really ever since he turned professional um at golf. So, and that also plays a role cuz I think if someone was newer to it, it’d be a lot harder to take like the criticism. But if you’re born into it or if you’ve been around it for a very long time, you eventually grow to and learn how to cope with it. Yeah. And uh Don did say at some point he said that people are often just better off staying away from social media because most people and the average person can’t really handle the criticism that comes with it. Um, have you experienced pressure because of expectations that have brought upon you from media and social media? Um, I actually enjoy creating content, playing golf. It’s really the passion of of love, you know, uh, when you have all these expectations on you. Um, you’re doing it to yourself, right? So, you’re you’re internalizing it yourself and it’s like, “Oh my gosh, there’s so much pressure awareness.” It’s like, you’re the same person no matter if you’re in a golf tournament or right outside the golf tournament. you walk outside those gates and you’re walking on the side of the road, you’re just another person. Yeah. Right. And and so I I look at it the same way is that you’re going to make yourself as anxious as you want to be, as nervous as you want to be. And people sometimes struggle to realize that, but in those high pressure situation moments, I go I go I I say to myself, look, it’s not that big of a deal. Imagine if you were just outside here and nobody knew who you were. Yeah. Don’t worry about it. Like just go do your absolute best. And that’s what I focus on. Yeah. And nothing changes. You know what you practice and what you’re playing in tournaments. It’s the same stuff. Um, you know, I I think so. But again, you know, I’m that guy. They say, you know, the number one fear for most people in the world is, you know, public speaking. For me, like the number one fear is like speaking to a small crowd. You know, the expectation thing doesn’t matter. I set expectations for myself. Uh, you know, there’s times I’m like, I that wasn’t that wasn’t it. They’re like, what do you mean? You had tens of thousand people cheering and singing and it’s going viral. I’m like, yeah, but it wasn’t my best. I I like to set those expectations myself and not have other people influence it. So, you know, again, I’m lucky. I’m blessed to be able to have that platform. I I’m also blessed to be able to filter out that noise uh and not care. But again, I think I think that’s something that the vast majority of people don’t do. I say like if if you’re not doing something for, you know, a product or a mission or this and you’re just on social media all the time, it’s probably going to rot your brain. Uh once you can get a sizable following, then it makes sense. But I’d say, you know, for the vast majority of people, they’re probably better off in terms of mental health and everything else. uh you know staying away from it because I’ve seen it destroy some really great people who you are actually very talented are actually very smart but cannot handle the downside of it. Yeah. The next question was have you experienced pressure because of expectations that have been brought upon you from media or social media? Um so the sources said that most people do feel pressure because of social media and what people expect of them. So they listen to what other people say and what they expect of them and they think that that’s the standards that they have to live up to. Bryson took the pressure as kind of a choice and said that you can only make yourself as anxious as you want to be. Mr. Don said that he likes to set his own expectations and not allow others to set them. So I think this is really important because when you’re in the public eye, you can’t let other people set expectations for you. um you kind of have to live up to what you believe in and what you the kind of person that you know you are. So as far as like the pressure goes uh Bryson and Don were yet again exemptions from the average human being saying that I think we just picked some really strong people. Yeah, we just picked basically people that were built different I guess and it doesn’t bother them at all which is very interesting because our articles would have disagreed with that. So, how important do you believe mental health and well-being is for someone as prominent as you in the public eye? I I would say the mental health component is just as important as your skill set, you know, it’s another um tool in in the toolkit for you. And, you know, when you’re playing the best golf your life or doing really well and and or when you’re struggling, you know, you have to have that mental capacity to take those the good and the bad on. And so it’s a it’s a spe special tool that you have to develop and and work on and grow over the course of time um in your own way relative to who you are, right? It’s unique to everybody. And I think that’s the the brilliant part about learning that learning more about yourself is is you can tackle things a lot more from a difficult perspective or or or an easy or you know a joyous perspective. sometimes being, you know, there are times where I’ve been super joyous, happy, I’ve won a bunch of tournaments and I look back and go, “Oh my gosh, that was it.” And you get this like sadness about you. Like that’s what I worked my whole life for. Mhm. And you get you get to rationalize that and go, “Okay, you worked your butt off for that. You’ve accomplished that. Now, how can I make a bigger impact in a good way?” Right? And that’s the way I look at it at least. That’s what keeps me going every day. Yeah. Cuz there’s some people that are like, “I’m good. I just want to keep wearing this winning the same shirt, man. I’m not worried about it.” For me, it’s like that was all it was. And I knew that was going to happen, by the way, in college. I had so many golfers tell me that, like I won PJ tour events and it didn’t satisfy me. I’m like, okay, yeah, sure. There’s going to be so many cool things you do off of that. And then it happened and I’m like, wow, that that person was right. So, what do I do now? And it’s turning it into how can I help others uh and inspire others, educate others, entertain others. Yeah. You know, I think it’s important. And I think the mental health aspect of things is probably something I probably would have laughed at, you know, a decade or two ago. You know, I was brought up in an old school house. It’s like, you know, forget your feelings like, you know, just fight through it. It got to be tougher. Don’t, you know, but but again, I’ I’ve seen enough people now over the last, you know, where it literally breaks good people. Like they they don’t recover from it, you know, focusing on that mental health. Again, I used to literally think of it as like weakness, but like you realize when you don’t do it, you know, that’s the ultimate weakness because it it’ll eat you alive. And so, uh, it’s I’ve definitely changed my views on the importance of that. I used to think it was a sound bite for someone who just just can’t handle it. It’s like, you know, honestly, at a certain level, like no one can handle all of it. And if you do or if you think you can, uh, often times you’re just building up rage. Uh, that is going to again take over and eat you up. You think you’re doing great. You think it doesn’t bother you, but you know, all of a sudden you’re not sleeping. All of a sudden, you’re not this and you know, no, I got this. It’s like, no, you don’t. Like so you know the mental law aspect of so much is actually so much more critical than I would have ever given it credit to even a few years ago and I was brought up in a sort of old school way uh that you know I guess worked me for me for a while but again one at a certain level uh it’ll eat away at you so you have to you have to actually focus on it become much more important than I would have ever given a credence and so it’s maybe you know the ultimate example of actually being able to be persuaded and you know change your mind about something that you you thought was irrelevant over time and actually realize it’s a fundamental aspect of, you know, being able to live a good life. How how do you think grandpa handles it? I think he’s still got the old school mentality. I think so. He, you know, there there’s no weakness, there’s no failure, there’s no this. You keep going through. And, you know, at at 79, uh, you’re probably not going to change that. But I think for myself, it’s one of those things I I watched it just, you know, during just constantly being attacked, having people literally trying to throw me in jail for what, having a different opinion. And, well, they made up all these. Well, it doesn’t matter. They were still trying to do it. it could be made up, but if they got what they wanted, that was the end goal. And we’ve discovered a lot of that now. And I think also for me, it, you know, probably affected a lot with with you guys. You know, you’re constantly under attack. So, you know, when you’re literally sitting there thinking about they’re trying to throw you in jail, all of a sudden, you know, your younger brother or sister comes up to me and, you know, they have a problem. To them, it’s the biggest problem in the world. In my mind, like, well, they’re trying to throw me in jail. Like, that’s nothing problem. You you you don’t give them the attention that they need or you don’t give them, you know, their problem the credence that it actually deserves. and you know it can it can screw up a lot more than just yourself. It can it can really affect those around you. So I think it’s really important thing to focus on and be aware of. Yeah, I agree. um both of their answers were aligned with um the general ideas from our sources. Meaning Bryson said it’s just as important as the skill set and Dawn saying he used to um not value it but later recognized it’s important and like after speaking to them they both agreed that like mental health is very important and it’s also like they’ve seen it kind of crush um people are like good people. My dad obviously didn’t think a long time ago that it was as important because he was also raised like he said he was raised in a very strong household and my family is very strong. So, but now he recognizes the importance of it. And Bryson thinks that it’s just as important as the actual skill set on the golf course, which me being a golfer, I agree with that 100%. I think your mental side of um things, especially on the golf course, is just as important as the skill set you have. Also, the way that you think and the way that your mentality is really is based off of how you’re raised. So, teaching nurture versus nature. Nature versus nurture. That’s what I’m getting to. Exactly. Um, so since he was raised like that, he is really not affected by this. And I think that it kind of proves how the way you’re raised really impacts your performance and your mindset really. And I and I also think being like obviously raised um and part of the Trump family and just knowing the personalities um don’t really let other people affect them at all. No, not at all. I think they kind of use it as fuel actually and I think that they kind of use it to make themselves stronger and it kind of makes their point. Yeah, I would agree with that 100%. Um has it become easier or harder um for you to ignore public commentary? So at tourrance if people are chirping at you or whatever it may be has has it gotten easier over time or has it been harder? I I would say it’s gotten easier because I’ve become more authentic, become more of myself, right? And the more you become yourself and just be yourself out there, not trying to be anybody different, not trying to play a character. Uh being more of yourself allows you to take on that criticism, take on the obligations a lot easier because you’re not trying to play a character. You’re not trying to play somebody different than yourself. That’s the one thing I’d recommend to people that are starting to become successful is be more authentically yourself. Yeah. If you can do that, you can’t you can’t go wrong with where you’re going to be in life and where you’re going to go in life. So, um, according to our sources, other celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, for example, struggled a lot with pressure that came from the public and people’s commentary. And so, she struggled a lot with stress, depression, insecurity, stuff like that. you know, she just had a hard time like many other celebrities managing those downsides of fame. Bryson said actually he said it’s become much easier for him and he really emphasized not playing like another character. He said not playing your character and being more yourself is what he emphasized. as I said, makes it easier, makes it better. Like, and Don kind of also emphasized this in an earlier question, saying that being authentic could be used as a powerful tool. Both of those responses aligned with a source of ours, referencing false self, um, which is kind of like a side effect that happens to people in fame, like they kind of lose who they are like privately as a person and who they present publicly. This is one of those questions that their responses actually did align with the findings of our source. Both of them saying that like it’s important to hold on to your like sense of self, self-image, and like your own like authenticity, what you present and have in front of it. And I would agree with that 100%. Especially being in social media and doing that. I think being yourself makes it so much easier and you’ll go a lot longer of a way being yourself and being authentic. And that’s what I do and that’s what you do, Emma. Bella, you don’t do social. You are your authentic self. Thanks, guys. But I think that’s very important. And I think if you’re being yourself, you will go a very, very long way. Either way, people are going to like you. People aren’t going to like you. And people always have something to say. Always, always, always. Everyone on social media thinks they’re like a genius and an expert in whatever they’re commenting on. They’re not, okay? like they obviously have nothing better to do than to comment on your page mean while you’re doing whatever you’re doing. If you’re getting haters, you’re doing something right. Does being in the public eye at all affect sense of self um and the way in the way you view yourself, whether that be positive or negative? So, have you It makes me realize how awesome I am. All right, next question. No, I mean it it does, but again, I I try to tune it out, right? if you think about it like you know and if there’s if there’s constructive criticism you know you can learn from that you know when it’s when it’s just flagrantly like a hit piece it’s like half the time when it’s just a hit piece you’re like okay I’m doing good like I’m over the target cuz if they’re attacking me on something so nonsensical so aggressively it means I’m actually effective against what they’re pushing and and that actually fuels me more than it detracts from what I try to do. Do you enjoy being a public figure who’s in the spotlight? I I actually do uh enjoy it. It took time, but the more I became comfortable in my own skin and the more authentic that I was personally, I was able to to feel gratitude and and grace off of inspiring and entertaining a bunch of people. So, uh, being in the spotlight, yeah, it’s it’s actually been a nice transition. Although it was tough at certain points in time, you have to learn to walk through it, walk through the fire, and understand who you truly are a little more um over the course of time. So, yeah. No, I I agree with that 100%. In what ways do you enjoy or not enjoy being in the public eye? I got into the public eye much later in life. Obviously had very famous parents and uh even my sister was very much out there uh in the public eye as a young kid. I I sort of avoided it. When I got into it was when basically I realized that I could take that public eye, that social media persona and turn it into a business opportunity. it would be foolish to be a real estate guy or, you know, on a number one, you know, hit TV show, The Apprentice, at the time, and not also promote it. Uh, that was that was like a lost opportunity. And so I realized very quickly though, it’s very binary. You’re either out there or you’re not. And once you’re out there, there’s no going back. So, you know, social media and that public presence uh can be an incredible tool, uh, you know, an advantage. But, man, it comes with the downsides. Not a lot of people, you know, are are ready for the downside. I’ve seen it literally break a lot of people where they they cannot handle that criticism. So, you have to have a certain, you know, stomach for that. You have to understand that, you know, while there’s the upside, there’s a downside. And if you can’t handle the downside, you should probably stay out of the game. Yeah, I agree with you agree with that. Um, so what type of media do you find most critical? I think I we Well, there be like social media, the news. Social media is probably the most critical. the news, you know, they’re not exactly fans of me, at least the mainstream sort of liberal media, which is still the vast majority of it, but you know, social media is definitely the most critical. I mean, everyone’s a critic on social media, right? These days, everyone’s a tough guy, you know, from their mommy’s basement on a keyboard. Uh, you know, actually getting up there and doing those things actually requires a tough guy. You know what I mean? Like, you know, you see all the criticism they had of, you know, your grandpa, my dad, you know, even, you know, over over the years and you’re like, he’s just, you know, paper tiger. He’s all, you know, but then he gets shot in the face. he stands up and ready to fight. I was like, maybe he is a tough guy. You know, everyone’s a tough guy on the internet. And yet I get criticism day in and day out, all day long online. And yet when I’m out in public, you’ve seen this, like I’m not sure that, you know, if I get one negative comment a year. So, you know, where’s that tough guy on the internet? All of a sudden, in in real life, it’s easier online. So, it’s easy to have a fake persona online. Um, so your brand has made a massive shift over the past 24 months, obviously now doing the break 50 series and not only do people look up to you as a professional golfer, but they also look up to you as a content creator. How do you feel you are I’m able to balance both? So professional golf and content creating? Yeah, that’s a great question. I mean, I’m in my off season, so now I’m focused a little more on content creation in my off season. And then during the middle of the season, I try to focus more on playing golf. Uh, so I’ll spend time working on my game a lot more than just going out and filming. You know, like today we just did something really quick and uh quirky out here at a golf course. And you know, we just go out and film. I’m not really worried about how I’m playing. I just go and do it. And then when it comes time to playing real golf, I I really get into it. And that’s actually when I play some of my best YouTube golf because I’m actually in season. Uh, so of course. So, do you think uh like the political like spotlight specifically, not just like if it were any social media person, like specifically being in the political spotlight, do you think that makes the media more critical of you? And why? Yeah. Well, because I I think I think they’re more critical of you, you know, as it relates to politics because I think the media is so, you know, biased in politics, right? When you’re talking about real estate or a business transaction, you know, not as big a deal. They they don’t have a vested interest. But I think so much of the mainstream media is so very clearly just liberal that they’re they’re not functioning as journalists anymore. They’re functioning as, you know, propagandists. You know, they are uh, you know, they’re pushing a narrative that is their liberal viewpoint. And so if you’re a threat to that, if you’re actually able to speak truth to that power, speak facts about it, you become a real threat and you become a target. And that’s why, you know, so much of the stuff they say about me, you know, my father, uh, you know, so many people on the conservative side of the political spectrum, uh, you know, why the attacks on them are so hard. But when when the other side either does something or doesn’t do something or doesn’t address an issue that needs to be addressed, it’s like there’s crickets. You know, they leave you alone. Uh, you know, if you’re, you know, on my side of the political spectrum and you’re weak, meaning you give up, you could be, you know, 90% conservative, but you give up when it matters to the other side, they leave you alone. They’re like, well, he’s going to fold on an issue that matters. we’ll let them be kind of conservative conservative light. Uh but if you stand up for that and fight for each and every point, uh you know, you got a target on your back because they have a world view. They’re not looking for the news. They’re looking to push an agenda. And I think that’s been displayed very clearly over the last decade since we got into this game. So, you know, it’s changed my mind a lot about, you know, how those things, you know, work. I’m like, you know, is that the truth or did you just see it on CNN? Because just cuz you saw it on CNN doesn’t mean it’s even remotely true. And I tapping into that, I agree. not being in social media and you know putting out YouTube videos doing whatever a lot of the stuff that you see on like articles and stuff like that if it’s off the video it’s just like a just so people can click on it it’s like and then you read you read about it and it’s like nothing about that they’ll take I I have some of these headlines I read the headline I’m like Jesus what is what is going on how and then you read the article like oh that’s not so bad I mean even if it’s a tech piece but the headline is designed purely for the click it’s like yeah no it’s very it’s very different and that’s why so much of that news is that way it’s just it’s purely about clicks They’re making money by the click. The click doesn’t get clicked if it’s not, you know, sensationalized and blown up into something it’s not. And, you know, that’s the world in which we live. That’s how they make their money. Have you ever felt the difference between who you are in your private life, say with your family or close friends versus how people expect you to be publicly? And how do you manage that balance? I see that a lot. They’re like, “Wait a minute, like you’re a like listen, I’m not that bad. It’s not that I’m not, you know, not being authentic. Like that is what I feel about those issues. you get me going about politics. I mean, sure guys probably heard this at a couple uh dinners. Uh you know, if I get going, I I believe in it, but it it doesn’t mean that that embroils your entire persona, right? Like, you know, you get me then talking about other things. It’s like, oh, wait. Like, well, I think you’ve gotten better, especially over the past few years. I think you’ve gotten better at like your family and your alone time. We’re not going to talk about politics. You know what I mean? Yeah. Well, I can separate the two, right? just, you know, I I can be a warrior when I’m in on that battlefield, but it doesn’t mean you have to be on the battlefield all the time, you know, and I spend hours on my phone every day doing that, but you get at home like I try to, you know, I’m pretty good about, you know, not being on my phone at dinner and stuff like that. I I want to be focused, you know, and in the moment. And that’s what’s lost so much because of social media. Everyone’s clout chasing. Everyone owns this, you know, you see, you know, one person with three followers, you know, they’re trying to stream an entire concert like rather than watch the concert. It almost drives me nuts. So, I actually try to, you know, why don’t you show those things? It’s like cuz I actually want to enjoy the moment. I actually want to be there. Uh and so I I’ve certainly gotten better at it over the last few years. There was a time I was probably embroiled in some of that. They’re like, “You just did the coolest thing in the world. Like why didn’t you stream it?” Like I’m like, “Honestly, man, I just wanted to be there and enjoy it.” Not think about doing that. And that’s that’s an important thing to live. I think you have to know when to put the phone down. Yeah. And then last question is, what advice um would you give to the young people who want to work in public service but may not understand the emotional pressure that comes with it? I I think you have to give it a shot. I mean, I think you have to be out there if if you believe in something, you have to go for it. But you have to understand just because you want it to be a certain way. Whether it’s business, whether it’s like like you’re not going to ever get what everything that you want. Yeah. Uh so you have to be comfortable, you know, not getting 100% of you want what you want, but you know, if you really believe in what you care about and that’s what it is, like you have to love what you do. Yeah. And you have to believe in it. And if you do those things, it makes the rest of it that much easier. If you’re doing it because it’s like, well, this is, you know, the internship I got or the job I got. I have no interest in it whatsoever. That’s a really terrible way to live. And you know, when you think about how long your career is, it’s, you know, from 20 to 60, maybe older by the time they get there since, you know, social security is getting drained. Like, if you’re going to do something for 40 plus years, you better love it or or your existence is going to be terrible. I mean, when you when you go to bed Sunday night, you’re like, uh, you know, 57th of your life, you know, waiting for it to be over, you know, waiting to clock out. You know, pick something you love, focus on that. You know, it’s probably more important than, you know, making more money. I know plenty of guys that pick jobs that they hate it to make more money and they realize the money wasn’t worth it. So, make sure you’re really passionate about what you do and then it becomes easy. Yeah. Thank you so much. You’re welcome. I love you very much. I love you. Love you. Thank you, Mr. Don. Bye, guys. Mr. Well, thank you so much, Bryson. I appreciate you so much, Bryson. Thank you. Let’s catch up soon. Thank you so much. Appreciate I’ll see you later. Bye. Bye. Bye. Okay. So I think overall kind of what we learned from this is that the average person who obviously isn’t born into this isn’t capable of Yeah. They’re not capable of dealing with this kind of pressure, this like immense stress that comes with it. But obviously what helped is literally just like trying to ignore it, trying to take in what’s important and ignore everything else. Being motivated by the haters or negative comments, whatever it may be. It kind of just showed how important like keeping your mental health like stable is when you may be experiencing the spotlight. I think it was very interesting to see how they either like supported or didn’t support some of the um like hypotheses we found in our sources. You know, I feel like you can be trained to um be able to handle the pressure, but you have to be very strong and you also have to be your authentic self and know what’s true to your um self or it’s going to like Bryson um or it’s going to be very hard and I know Bryson might have struggled with it for a little while because you know pressure is hard especially when you’re doing a professional sport and you’re also getting criticized on the internet for whatever you you may be doing like it is very tough um to see that and perform at your highest level but you can train yourself to get used to it and use it as fuel and um get better at handling the pressure and apparently my dad has just been a dog since day one so he’s never had any issues Yeah, you have to make sure that you have a really strong sense of self because people are always going to have something to say. So, just really just be yourself because no matter what, someone’s going to have to say something. So, to close everything out, like, subscribe, and remember that’s all matters. Hit the notification button. I hope you guys enjoy this video. This is a little something different than I normally post, but this is for my AP psychology project. Shout out to you, Miss Nike. It’s like A+es only. Okay. I don’t want to say anything. I need extra credit. Extra credit. We’ll see you guys in the next one. Peace out.
I had the opportunity to interview my dad, Donald Trump Jr., and my friend Bryson DeChambeau. This is my actual school project, and I’m excited to share it with you!

Living Unoffendable!
I agree with your Dad, it’s toughest to see my kids getting attacked on social media.
Great job!
I love President Trump and his entire family. They have so much class. I am so happy to be rid of the biden crime family and that dope head hunter biden.
Hi Kai Trump! I think the key here is each of your interviewees we're looking at this from a different perspective.. the key is is it constructive criticism or are they just haters so the key is to be strong in who you are have great integrity. Be teachable but also be resilient and somewhat bullet proof to the haters.. so some are giving constructive criticism and some are haters and there's those of us who appreciate you. I think you have a great soul from what I can see. And my constructive criticism would be annunciate your words better because we have a hard time understanding you. We enjoy your work. God bless you
Hey Kai. I like you in glasses. Makes you look intellectual.

any classes that can make a deathstar, well a asteroid is headed to earth 🌎 and everytime they want to nuke it, get real and buy some deathstars ,what do you think there made for ( no nuclear fall out ) not even on kardashev scale- go stand in front of it ( for testing purposes) no one with a brain was hurt in testing ////🐬safe
YALL girls are doing it, don’t pay ANY ATTENTION TO THE NAY HATERS, there are MORE OF US
Grow some moustaches
Is that Emma's sister on the vagal nerve stimulator commercial
Have a great idea for truth social. Add a market place. Everyone would have to download to buy and sell things and add guns and animals. Then the streaming platform would sell better
Good job ladies! And the key is to stick together with good quality friends who will support you build you up and be lovingly honest with one another. Keep building your business and your lives with good character and hopefully a great foundation of faith all the best to all three of you
Mental health is underrated. Growing up in a family that you cannot trust and being mentally and physically abused by older sibling, while being put into position of having to take care of younger siblings and often having to parent my parent at young age, doesn't allow ones brain to develop properly. Never learning to feel safe creates a constant state of fight or flight. CPTSD is debilitating. I wish that i could get rural land to go and stay on for a while and allow nature to heal me. Being oversensitized can be debilitating, trying to live in an apartment complex. I pray to one day have land that people and animals can come to, to heal. A Safe place. Everywhere i have looked for help is major expesive. There needs to be a place like homesteading. People can work in nature, growing food, caring for animals, and contributing to the community. I would love to be around people who actually care about others.
Fav gang ❣️ Don, Kai & Emma ⭐️
8:42 Winning… he's got tiger blood😋👍
Kai, the video was excellent, entertaining, and constructive 👍👏👻💝🌹💞. Almost half an hour of serious discussion about mental health, and they made it very enjoyable and interesting. The interviewees also answered in a simple and understandable way, unlike politicians (apologies to Kai's dad) or experts on whatever topic they're talking about, who use words, phrases, and sentences that even they don't understand 🙈😂🤗. Many blessings and a big hug to the three beautiful and charming young ladies 🙏🙏🙏, from Medellín, Colombia 💛💙💝.
REALLY enjoyed this video! Great job girls. Questions were well thought out and your synopsis of each questoin was precise and to the point.
Excellent! All three of you girls did a great job working together. Well done interviews with well thought out questions. Your dad & Bryson were great picks with very different personalities, backgrounds, different worlds they are in. Both of them showed class, honesty, & good insight into themselves & their audiences. A blessing to see how much they both love & support you as well as Emma & Bella. Great project & enjoyed watching. Thank you for sharing. Praying for you gals.
Smart girl 🤙🤘✌️👽💨🛸

hey girl- This was so good! 😁🤗
Pretty special when you can get a couple of world famous people to sit down to be interviewed for your high school project, and even better when the interviewers are smart enough to ask really good questions and listen well enough to understand the answers. It did seem that Bella really needs to learn to fight for "screen time" with all the others being such dominant "media voices." I suppose for a first year university course Kai, Bella and Emma will call a special session of the UN Heads of State to answer questions about "political structure in the modern world" LOL!!
Aww heck nah
Don is right about the liberal media pushing propaganda. I've never seen it so extreme as it is now. It really is fake news. Blows my mind.
*🧠**Psychology wisdom for ya'll…Hi Bella, Emma and Kai! Your "self esteem" is like a checking account. When you're born, there's nothing in your "self esteem" account. Ideally, it's up to your immediate family to make REAL "self esteem" deposits when you're young. As you get older, you rely on your circle of friends to continue to make REAL deposits that gives you confidence in what you do and the decisions you make. As your "self esteem" account balance grows you can write "self esteem" checks to others…that makes our world better! *** the problem with many people is they have a ZERO or NEGATIVE "self esteem" account balance and they have to "steal" from others and tear them down to lift there own "self esteem" balance. THE LESSON: you CAN'T change anybody directly! You can only be the example of how you want them to be and hopefully indirectly they will see your example and improve themself. Be kind to all…but watch their actions…don't be fooled by their words.
21:12 exactly…the worst thing to happen to a country …rapid corruption and commie libsh*t media demonrats covering it up..MAGA .borders, language, culture. Thank you President Trump 🇱🇷
