Here’s what’s happening in the golf world today. Four-time PGA Tour winner Siwu Kim is rumored to be in high level talks to join Live Golf for the 2026 season under the Iron Heads GC team. The tour is apparently very confident that they’re going to sign him. This all comes after his third place finish at the Australian Open. Eden Griffin announced that he got married over the weekend to his wife Dana exchanging vows publicly in front of their friends and family. TGL’s announced a brand new hole for season 2 called Stinger, which is going to require some low T- shots to get under that mountainous rock with the gap being as little as 40 feet from top to bottom. This is definitely going to require some stingers in season 2. TGL is also teasing the announcement of the official team holes for season 2 where each team is going to get their own hole with personalized backdrops and terrain to really create that home versus away feel in each of the matches. Golf has also announced a 15 and a half degree version of its R seven quad mini driver which is going to make this thing a little bit easier to hit off of the deck which is going to be a little bit weaker in loft than a standard 3-wood. Three Live golf teams are rumored to be going through a rebrand for the 2026 season, which is in line with the trademark filings that we saw earlier this year with Fireballs being changed to Real Club to Toros GC, Stinger DC being changed to Southern Bindy or Southern Guard GC, and the Iron Heads being changed to Beco East GC.
