No flash. No frills. Just pure performance. The NU 2.0 is the latest evolution in Hammer’s Not Urethane line, designed for bowlers who love the control and shape of urethane but need more strength and versatility. Poured in a clean, matte grey that reflects its workhorse mentality, the NU 2.0 features NU Active, a new coverstock that’s slightly more aggressive than the original NU Blue. This formula provides slightly more hook where bowlers need it most, without sacrificing the smooth, predictable motion that made the NU line a favorite. For players battling high-friction league conditions or looking for a more forgiving alternative to traditional urethane at tournaments, the NU 2.0 delivers a motion you can trust and results you can count on.

The NU 2.0 is available starting 11.20.2025!

This isn’t your average bowling ball. This is the new 2.0. The next evolution of Hammer’s legendary not urethane technology. At the core of this monster is the proven Hammer LED core. The same core that’s defined that unmistakable hammer motion for years, but this time we wrapped it in something new. Introducing new Active, a nextG version of the new cover stock. The new active cover stock is slightly more aggressive and more responsive down lane than its predecessor. Built for when you need that urethane feel, but urethane isn’t on the menu. The new 2.0 delivers that pure, consistent roll that hammer fans demand. Powered by a thick shell construction you just don’t see in the market anymore. It’s retro DNA with a modern edge. This ball has old school feel built for the new school game. We brought in hammer legends Bill O’Neal, Eric Jones, and Robert Smith for walk-in talk sessions to see how far they could push the limits on the new 2.0. Different finishes, different layouts, same results. That unmistakable hammer crunch at the pin deck. With the Pro Tour right around the corner, you can bet this ball’s making its way into staff bags everywhere. When urethane’s off the table, Hammer still gives you the reaction you crave. The new 2.0 Pure hammer. No excuses. [Music] [Music]

  1. Sick of maintenance on resin balls. The endless sanding, cleaning, and extraction to keep the original reaction sucks the fun out of bowling

  2. I know I am probably getting this ball for sure. All I am waiting for is a Maximum bob review to confirm my decision because this ball looks like a treasure for rev dominant bowlers
