PXG 0311T = expensive golf club, every golfer knows that. However, I really want to test if pxg is worth the money. $750 for a custom Xtreme Dark finish and upgraded shaft and grip options for the 0311T pxg sugar daddy wedge. I’m putting it up against the Vokey SM5 wedge that I bought 3 years ago.
PXG sugar daddy
~not feeling the unique look but the craftsmanship is the best American made club.
~feel extra heavy compared to other wedges, probably it’s the weight from the screws.
~very soft feel, a little bit too soft, still feel good even missing the sweet spot.
~very good backspin
~little low on the ball speed
~could be one of the best wedges of 2018! if it isn’t priced $750
Vokey SM5 wedge
~ used for couple years and still spinning as much as the new wedge of 2018
~still expensive when I bought them but nowhere near the pxg.
~great feel for a wedge, vokey wedges always outperforms others in term of its unique feel.
