What a golf experience, today. It was a little chilly out there and cart path only unfortunately, but our group had an amazing time. It was in amazing shape, challenge as hell, but played very fair if played smart.
Can't wait to do it again.

I’ll never understand the people who shit on this course for being too whatever they say it is. It’s so much fun, in great shape year round, and a challenge but in a joyous way. I’m a below average golfer and would rather play there than at an “average” course that meets my skill level any day. Give me some blind tee shots. Make me try to tee off through a tree tunnel. So much fun.
Tobacco Road has just been released as a playable course in the virtual reality game GOLF+, and it’s unbelievable there as well. 🙂
They also were the first officially licensed course to be designed on GSpro. It looks spectacular!

Tobacco Road is one of my favorite courses. I live nearby and have been fortunate to play it many times. It’s always fun to take someone there to play for the first time. I tell them like it’s “playing golf at the circus”. It’s a very polarizing course. You will either love it…or never want to set foot there ever again.
I actually don’t have many bucket list courses… but this is one of them. I’m jealous, and happy you had a good time.
How much was a round right now? Im looking to go this time next year and experience this beautiful place.
