Kevin Kizner suggests penalties for live golfers returning to PGA Tour. Kevin Kizner has called for potential restrictions on live golf players seeking to return to the PGA Tour. In an interview with Trey Wingo, he suggested that stars like Bryson Dashambo, Dustin Johnson, and Brooks Kubka could be excluded from the PGA Tours player equity program, which distributes $930 million to top players over eight years. Kizner said such measures would reward those who remained loyal to the tour. Top golfers including John Rahm and Phil Mickelson signed multi-million dollar deals with Live Golf, prompting the PGA Tour to increase prize money and launch PGA Tour Enterprises. Kizner also noted that if Liv faces closure due to financial losses exceeding $1.4 billion since 2021, returning players might need to pay fines or earn their place through tour school, reflecting ongoing friction between the two tours.
