Blair Wheeler vs. PGA Tour Winner Scott Stallings… and the loser has to RUN A MARATHON.

I don’t know how I get myself into these situations, but here we are—three holes, one PGA Tour champ, one dad with questionable decision-making. Winner walks away. Loser laces up for 26.2 miles.

This match is pure chaos, high-level golf, dad anxiety, and the kind of bet that makes you rethink your life choices. Scott Stallings brought the heat… I brought my golf-dad delusion.

If you’re new here, I make videos about being a golf husband, golf dad, and average dude trying to get 1% better—on the course, at home, and apparently now in marathon training 😅

Would YOU take this bet? And should Scott pace me for the marathon if I lose??

What’s up? Welcome back to the channel. We’re here at Eagle Point Golf Club. Have my buddy, threetime PJ Tour winner, Scott Stallings. Hos and Esties are in at 10 under and Stallings wants to join him. What a beautiful T-shot at the closing par three and Stalling says make it a three-way tie. Does it look like a carbon copy? He’s just to the right of the flag. So, now it’s down to Stallings. 6’9 in. And just like that, Stallings Bernie’s the 18th to become the sixth rookie winner on the PGA Tour. Scott Stallings entered the 2014 Farmers Insurance Open looking for his third victory on tour. Stallings made seven putts over 8 ft in the final round. Scott Stallings was looking on. He knew then he has career victory number three, the winner at the Farmers Insurance Open. We’re going to do a little match today. three holes and uh see how many EBs we buy. Could be bad. Every stroke I win by, you have to run a mile. If by some miracle you win, every stroke I’ll run, I don’t know, a lot of miles. But if someone makes a hole in one in this, you got to run a marathon. Okay. Spicy. Yes. No, not like a race, but you got to go run 26 26. So if someone hoops one the opposite guy be pretty wild. And I’ve never run more than seven miles, so this could be bad. Yeah. All right. 129. A good ball. All right. 129 pitching wedge. Just an easy pitching wedge. Come on. Oh, it’s got to go. Not a good start. Uh-oh. This This lie is just absolutely buried. Scott’s already putting, so this isn’t a great great start here. I should have asked for some strokes. Oh god, that’s thick. Super thick. All right, stay. I’m just surprised I got it out of there to be completely honest. Like that was that was brutal. That was tough. You good? Yeah, it’s fine. Oh. Okay. All right. Wow, that was quick. There’s There’s a lot of stress here. Actually, I think it’s still you, Scott. Maybe should have hit a putter, too. And these things are pure. Oh my goodness. All right, that’s good. You make that right, man. These things are way faster than I thought they were. All right. Need this one. Need this one. Maybe we need a warm-up hole. That’s good. I just need to see the ball go in now. All right. Well, that’s one mile. These things are quick. What is it? 82. Okay. All right. I’m already down one mile. This isn’t a great start. I knew I was going to be running though. Like seven handicap versus a PJ tour player, three holes. Like I expect at minimum 3 miles. Yeah. But not like with a bogey. We can do better than that. At least we’re going to lose. We’re going to try and make some birds coming in. Yeah. Got this hole and then we’re going to finish right there. Okay. Cool. Cuz you see like number three goes out and then it kind of loops all the way around. Yeah. Yeah. 82. Flight pass. Oh man, that’s going to be really good. Could be really good. What’ you hit? I just chipped a little sand wedge. Chipped a sand wedge. 82 yards. Go. This is not a great look. Played the the the par three tournament at Augusta. Uhhuh. I’ve always heard there’s the comparison here between Eagle Point, Augusta National. Like, how similar is this par three to theirs? I mean, the the greens kind of match a bunch of the stuff from obviously it’s the same firmness and speed. Yeah. But the contour is similar to what they have on the golf course as well. Gotcha. All right. Here we go. Another crazy lie. Crazy shots. I don’t even know how to hit this to be honest. Like like do you hit a 60 here? You just want to get it like to this area and just let it like kind of grun down there. So, I’m aiming up here. I’m going like kind of at that tall pine tree. Yeah, that’s that’s what I wanted to do. Settle. Settle. Settle. Okay. That’s as good as I can do out of there. No, you can do better than that. So, you have a lot of like this. Uhhuh. Especially like when you get into the like a little bit of slope kind of lean into it and then you But so we get like a way sharper contact. Okay. You kind of swing like with and the arm kind of goes just a lot of play down in there. Yeah. So you’re saying like most of short game is all more shaft lean ju not you’re not trying to like jam it forward but lean into it a little bit and where you can kind of stay so if you were going to swing all with your right hand you wouldn’t go this way. Okay. If you had to hit the ball so your chest kind of stays down on top of it. You see how make sure you hit the ground this way. I have that problem with my full swing too. Like I’m swing and you go this way. Yeah. And I come up. I mean, you hit it too hard, but you see like the contact and the trajectory. You don’t have the ball kind of spin up in the air. You can see how confident Scott is in his uh victory here on the second hole. He’s already giving me lessons. So, we’re not looking good. Miles is starting to add up. Yeah, lessons on the second hole. Yeah. Lessons on the second hole is never a good look. I mean, you hit a your shot’s fine. Yeah. But like in terms of if you get where like contact is really you just have a lot of like where you want to like move backwards. Yeah. All right, Scott. Make a bird. Give me another mile. Hopefully I can. Last putting adventure wasn’t great. Hey. Hey. There it is. There’s a There’s a two. I need this one to save a mile. We’re at three miles. drawing back in. Wow. I didn’t hit it hard enough. What did you hit there? I didn’t think I hit a wedge. Not as much help as I thought. Okay. All right. 146. Feels like it’s a lot of help. Make your divot look like mine. Huh? Make your divot look like mine. Okay. Nope. That could work out, dude. Like there’s nothing good that happens from this. Okay. When your rehearsal is doing something that is inherently like one of the worst things you can do in golf, you need hands close to the body and head this way. Like make the head work this way. And so you’re you’re training a handle drag. Okay. So like there’s there’s no great shots that happen from this position cuz then you have to wind it back out. Yeah. You can kind of accomplish same thing like a little bit of space and make this head go kind of go back this way and then you can be able to do everything you want to do on the way down. All right. But right before you take it back, you’re ingraining something which is Nope. No. Now make the head go back first. There you go. Like you’re a big athletic dude. Like use it instead. You take it all away. Hit another one. Nope. Nope. So we’re going to go hands up just a touch. Keep that club a little bit lower going back and then this way where the bo the club works back with the body. Okay. Yep. And then kind of feel that. Yep. We’re going to you kind of and you have this. You see how your face gets shut? Yeah. And then you got to wind it back in there. Yeah. That’s why you like the huzzle. Okay. Trying to take that guy out of play. So it’s real simple. Feel like these stay in. Make the club go back and push it back with your body. And then there you go. Way better. Please go in. Oh yeah, that’ll work. So I just literally need to feel the club head go first. Still going. It’s still going. Wow. A a really good a really good drill would be to take like a eight or nine iron. Uhhuh. And not quite like driver height. Yeah. But not like like kind of like mid. Okay. And try to make them go like half swing and make them go low. Okay. like where you’re so the your shaft’s this way and then your body covering it all the way through. Okay. Cuz you kind of hit all your shots tend to be like this where like high elbow cuz you’re trying to make the face open up because you when the club goes you you basically a foot off the ball the club face is shut cuz you take the handle back first. Well, we’re on three. So, and thankfully we’re only doing three holes because But see, like you all you did is just a little bigger setup and kind of rethink your takeaway. Yeah. And I’ll go hit this one with you. Yeah. My miss with my chipping as I come up. Yeah. It’s all compensation. Yeah. This is not really the right club for this, but you could cover draw this one. So, I’m gonna bounce it in, get a little bit shut, and kind of stay on top and kind of chase it in just like that. Jeez, Oh, that was great. I just did what you showed me to do. Cover, trap, draw it. heck the shot. I honestly thought it was going to hit this sprinkler head right here and just go bing. Like I chipped that perfect and I would drill the sprinkler head. Well, that’s golf. I feel like dude, I’m happy with that chip. That’s freaking cuz before if I’m playing that shot, not having talked to you, I’m hitting it high and trying to land it like right on the front and you just made a six. Yeah. Worst case scenario, that goes too far and you make a four and you you may tend or take it out. You can leave it in. Okay. I could put after my putt on the first hole, I could put this ball off the green. Oh, it’s just going to keep going. These things are like glass. Yeah. All right. Good. That was a lot better. That’s good for three. That’s good for three. All right. Make this. You just have three miles. It’s feeling nervy. You You think that’s good? That’s That’s good. You sure? Yeah. I’m taking that and I’ll take my four. Thank you. Four miles in three holes. In three holes. 3 miles. 26 33. Last one. Feet are going numb. I hate this. I hate this. Lexi. All right, I’m done. Rinse. Dude, Scott, pay it up. 36204 miles. That may be worse than losing money. Comment down below who you want to see me play next, who you want to see run miles.
