I spent my Saturday afternoon this December at Pitch in Soho, and it ended up being one of the most fun and surprisingly festive outings I’ve had in a while.
I went with my boyfriend, my brother, and his girlfriend – a little double-date Christmas get-together – and from the second we walked in, the place had that perfect balance of buzz, warmth and weekend energy.
Pitch is already known for its modern indoor-golf vibe, but I didn’t expect it to feel quite so social and lively.

One thing I’ve learned is that Pitch isn’t just about golf anymore; it’s part of a much bigger movement.
Recently the brand opened a new flagship venue, Pitch Wharf, in Canary Wharf, adding to its existing London sites.
Meanwhile, the company has now launched Pitch Manchester, its first venue outside the south, featuring ten state-of-the-art TrackMan golf bays, shuffleboard, a TRENDYGOLF retail store, bar & kitchen facilities, and a social-club atmosphere combining sport, dining, and entertainment.
Pitch has publicly confirmed plans to expand to many more venues (aiming for tens of locations nationally) over the coming years.
In essence, Pitch is transforming from a handful of London-based indoor golf clubs into a nationwide lifestyle-golf network: modern, social, accessible, and built for both casual players and enthusiasts alike.

Being in the Soho venue, you can definitely feel that bigger vision reflected in the design and atmosphere.
The four of us booked a private area, which turned out to be perfect for a small group.
It gave us our own space to laugh, snack, compete, and most importantly make fun of each other’s questionable golf swings.
Pitch has a huge variety of games, not just straightforward golf simulations, and we hopped between challenges that ranged from addictive target games to full virtual courses.
I’m not a serious golfer by any stretch, but the tech makes it ridiculously easy and fun to get into.
Service-wise, Pitch Soho hits the sweet spot between attentive and relaxed.
The staff popped in at just the right moments to check on drinks or help us switch games, but never made it feel like we were being hovered over.

The bar menu was solid, with festive drinks that fit the season, and the food was exactly what a Saturday outing calls for – easy, fun, and good for sharing.
We ordered a mix of snacks and small plates that kept us going between rounds.
What really made the afternoon, though, was the social vibe. Even though we had our private area, the whole venue had this upbeat, friendly feel.
There were groups of friends, couples, and even a few work parties – all clearly having a blast. It felt Christmassy without being cheesy, lively without being chaotic.
By the time we finished, my cheeks hurt from laughing and I’d somehow developed a competitive streak I didn’t know I had.
Whether you’re into golf or just want something different to do with the people you love spending time with, Pitch Soho is the perfect mix of play, atmosphere, and weekend joy. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
