Tiger Woods Just Gave a DEVASTATING Update on His Return

get a microphone over to you. Start over here with uh with Rex Tiger. I’m going to jump ahead to later this month when you turn 50. Happy early birthday, by the way. There’s been a lot of speculation about what you may do next year. What are your thoughts on possibly playing the PJ tour champions? Yeah, I’m probably going to play probably 25 events on both tours, and I think that should cover most of the year, right? No. Um I I’m just looking forward back to just let me get back to playing again. Um, I just want to let me do that and then I’ll kind of figure out what the schedule is going to be. Um, it I’m a ways away from that part of it and that kind of that type of decision, that type of commitment level. Uh, unfortunately, I’ve been through this rehab process before. It’s just step by step. And then once I get a feel for uh practicing, exploding, playing, the recovery process, then I can assess where I’m going to play and how much I will play. Follow up to that. How is the rehab? I mean, how far along are you in the rehab process? Are you chipping? Are you putting? I just got cleared last week to chip and putt. So, it’s good. It’s been six weeks um last Friday. And so, it uh it’s been slow and you can’t really do much on a disc replacement. You got to let it set. Um can’t really do much. Um, now we got the okay to start start cranking up a little bit in the gym and start strengthening and start doing a little bit more of the rotational component that I hadn’t been able to do and um just letting the the disc kind of set. Do you do you have a target? Is there do you want to be ready at the genesis of the master? You know, as I said, I don’t know. You know, I just started to chip and putt. I just started to lift in the gym. I just started this process. So, um, a disc replacement takes time. Um, it’s longer. It’s not as long as a fusion, thank God. Um, but it’s going to take time. Why do you want to mount another comeback? Um, come back to what point I’d like to come back to is just playing golf again. I hadn’t played golf in a long time. You know, it’s been a tough year. Um, I’ve had a lot of things happen on and off the golf course that’s been tough. And so, um, my my passion to just play. I haven’t done that in a long time, just play. Um, so I’ve had to sit on the sidelines for for a number of months and most of this year and quite frankly end of last year. Is the Champions Tour more realistic? As I said to to Rex, I don’t know. I don’t know what that is. I need I need time to figure this out with with my back and with my body. And as I start to, you know, get more explosive and start to rotate and see what I’ve got, um, then I could find out or assess what tournaments I could play in, how much I should play, um, where I would like to play. Um, I really haven’t gone in depth of what the schedule looks like on the Champion Tour except for a few tournaments. Um, even, you know, our schedule. I’ve been I’ve been working on our our 27 28 schedule. So, uh, it’s been a it’s been not exactly golf- based. It’s been personally golf based. It’s been about about trying to what trying to do what’s best for the tour.
