Sometimes even the best fall just like the one of us. In 2003 at Royal St. George’s, Thomas Bejorn was on the brink of his first major. Three holes left, a two-shot lead. But on the par 316th, his sixiron drifted right and trickled into a deep, brutal bunker. And that’s when the nightmare began. His first attempt, too soft. The ball rolled right back to him. Second attempt, unbelievably the same result. On the third try, he finally escaped, but the damage was done.
