Check the Vs at the address position and adjust until you get the desired ball flight.

The leading cause of slicing the ball is to have your thumbs positioned on the top of the grip when addressing the ball, causing the Vs formed by the index fingers and thumbs to point to the chin or left shoulder (right shoulder for left-handed golfers).

This is known as a weak grip. The Vs of both hands should point to the right shoulder area for the right-handed golfer and the left shoulder area for the left-handed golfer.

Control the ball flight by rotating your hands so the Vs of the right and left-hand point more to the right and left shoulder for the left-hand golfer.

It also helps to set the shoulders parallel to the target line and to make a one-piece takeaway, keeping the clubhead in front of your chest on the backswing. Correct a slice and enjoy this great game called golf even more.
