A popular trophy established at Sudbrook Moor Golf Club nearly 40 years ago has always done what it was intended for.

The Gordon Trophy encourages the higher handicap golfers participating in senior competitions.

It continues to do so and is awarded annually, based on a special autumn date and its stableford result. The focus is on handicap indexes of 24 and upwards.
