Yeah. So this at the second the lengthy birdie try. Now this par three second very narrow green but when you hit this green opportunity to make a putt Scotty Sheffer too if you are Scotty she here’s a look at the one back at seven from the bunker. Look how short that back swing was too. I know it was almost oddl looking. Yeah a lot of times short his first birdie of the day the par five. This from 274 is second. This whole cut so close to the bunker just on the right side of the green. You have to try to avoid it. And Scotty Shuffler barely squeaks it up the front of the screen. What a golf shot. How about his record at this event? So, we mentioned he won the last two years. What did he finish the two prior years? Uh, second place here. Yeah. And Windam Clark with a birdie try coming up. This to share the lead. He’s such a good putter from outside 15 ft. Continues. See that all the time from Windham. Smiley. How about that? and pin high hitting his number. The best in the world and keeping himself right next to the hole. Good shot. Well done there from Jordan. He he loves driving those chips and uh really did a good job there. Just a little right to left break here. Got to take care of the par fives and then heading into a drivable par4 at the seventh. Got to respect the speed on this one. This can get away from you and he dies it right in the center. Great putt. Couple of birdies by those two guys. We’ll watch them throughout the day. That final pairing out there. A Beta check in at 14 is second. It’s a difficult shot. Wow, the hands. Excuse me. Especially from this sandy area. up struck a two under par three likes to hit a draw. So holding it up against this left to right wind that is about going to be underneath the hole inside 6 ft. Really good season for Se truck. You want to just keep this a little bit left of the hole. Anything right or long it can get into a tough spot. Oh, he’s a precision iron player. Looks like that’s inside of 6 ft. Good one. That flag not moving at all. Oh my goodness. This will give you the heebie-jebies if you don’t chip it really well. But it’s Jordan Speed. He’s going for the spinner. The guy’s amazing around the crease. Holy cow, what a shot. Yeah, those hands you talked about, Bones. Windom Clark already at five under this for sole possession. You don’t want to hit have to hit this very hard. Pretty straight putt. Oh, it did. It didn’t want to, but it did. That’s two holes in a row where the ball has just barely crept in. A Patia trying to take advantage of another par five. And he does to get within one of Windham Clark’s lead. JJ Spawn ready at 12. That’s pretty accurate with JJ Spawn when he looks at the green and regulation stat. Has not missed one yet today. He’s just such a good iron player. It’s a reason why he is ascendant in this game. He almost shocks you from time to time when he does move it right to left. Kurt. There he goes. JJ Spawn pure bogey free got it to six under par. Sharing the lead. 14 and the second for Hideki. I love watching this guy pitch around the greens. He is so good. Last couple years, Terry, he has led in that statistic around the greens. He’s just a wizard that Clark made his. How about Matyama? Yep. Making it look easy there. That drivable Canadian Cory Connors. He has an Eagle putt at 15. He got off to a slow start today. Double bogey the par three second. Good looking. Oh yeah. Walked that one in. Look at the run he’s on since the ninth. First look at 18 and the second now for Ashe Batia. Very narrow green at the 18th. A front hole location. You hit it in this fairway, you’re going to have a wedge in and a birdie opportunity a moment ago. The eagle effort for Hideki Matsuyama. Yeah. Playing alongside Windham Clark here. Oh, another one. Hideki. Sure. Smile if you can. I watched Harris English hit a beautiful iron shot here yesterday in the proam with a lot more wind. He likes to hit this little draw. Look at his chops there. Yeah. Right. You know, if you do leave it short there, another one of the draw machines here with his irons. That’s a great illustration of it. I like the look of that, Steve. Left of the flag stick. Might have got that inside of Harris’s for the closest of the pin today. Keeps him from going at the green. So, he’s just pitching this out, digging himself a wedge number for his third. It’s tough to tell how solid that ground was right there. The lie looked good enough, Woody, to where he could have taken a chance. Spin hard. Decent right to left in this one though. How about that? That’s a good part. A smart decision at 18 to lay it up with a wedge. Good strike also in a good line. See if this misses the pin. No, but a great shot. Good strike cutting back just left of it. How good is he? He never misses the center of the club face. What a beautiful iron shot there by world number one. Ideal T- shot. Just a great iron shot. Good place to putt from just there 12 ft. Yeah, he’s not missing from that distance. So that is birdie number five on the card with no bogeies and Scotty Shuffler. 16 and a long one for Robert McIntyre. Nobody is hitting it close here at 16. Everybody has long putts. Oh yeah. And finally somebody’s made a birdie here at 16. This one goes down. Got off to a poor start on the opening nine and starting to heat up a little bit. Well, there you go. Everything going in there. Moment ago, Burns second from 128 at the last. That was after a big drive from Sam. Just a wedge and went after it, too. Yep. Shot, dude. Beauty. and Justin Rose, the gold medalist from Rio in 2016 on that left side of the tea trying to take a draw in there. Looks like he’s hit a nice one. Yeah, he did. Should be a perfect lob wedge here. You got to fly it like he said all the way to the hole at least with spin. He’s trying to do. It’s going to be a downhill putt. Definitely have some break to it. Four iron from 231. Trying to hit a power cut. This is left of the flag. The greener bunker. Oh, he asked for the greener bunker. There’s the answer. You can’t see because of that big burm that runs out there right where you saw that Marshall come running out there. We get it up the hill to the hole. put it beautifully today. Only had 22 putts to hear. No problem for Scotty. That’s birdie number seven. That’s three in a row and he is now sitting at top the board. Always trying to improve is Scotty. Justin Rose. What an effort. 38 going out. But that’s his fifth consecutive birdie. Sixth birdie on the backside. And the man who used to live here for seven years has a lot of support. While we were away, Cameron Young on the edge here at 16 for birdie to get it to three under. We just saw McIntyre and Justin Rose hole some putts from here. Boom. Oh my goodness. That’s the place to put from. Impossible to miss from there. Three birdies in a row. This on a good line. Oh wow. There you go. Hasn’t been Jordan’s beast day, but that’s being pretty gritty there at the last after a T- ball that just get creeps into that penalty area. So Jordan just walked up and tapped it in. Remember that was his third from the fairway though. a good save he only made from a feet a putt standpoint just and Scotty Shuffler the number one player in the world and has won the last two years trying to be the first player to win three years in a row. What a charge on the back nine for Justin Rhodess to get there on the first page of the leaderboard. So come back wrap things up here in a moment from Albany. Thanks for watching the PJ tour. 1. I'm glad Wyndham took time out of his busy inanimate object smashing career to play a round of golf…

  2. Makes me laugh, we see a loads of spieth and shoots level par. See about 4 or 5 shots for Scottie and he’s 6 under. The man is so good he’s boring, obviously no one cares.
