Kai Trump, who recently competed in the LPGA’s The Annika golf tournament, will be a special contributor at the nationally televised Optum Golf Channel Games Dec. 17 at Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter.

The inaugural event will feature Rory McIlroy, ranked No. 2 in the world, and a team of Shane Lowry, European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and Haotong Li vs. world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and his team of U.S Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley, Sam Burns and Luke Clanton in a unique competition that will have the players showcasing their long-game, short-game and putting skills.

The Golf Channel Games will begin at 7:30 p.m., and will be broadcast live on Golf Channel and USA Network.

It is not yet known whether President Donald Trump will be in Palm Beach that week and if he would attend the event being held at one of his golf courses.

Besides Kai Trump, who often plays golf with her grandfather, other announcers announced by Golf Channel are PGA Tour pro Keith Mitchell, who won the Honda Classic in 2019, serving as an analyst alongside longtime Golf Channel play-by-play announcer Steve Sands. Smylie Kaufman, Brad Faxon and Johnson Wagner will serve as on-course commentators, providing live interviews with players.

Kai Trump also will participate in challenge tutorials with Wagner as well as the trophy ceremony.

A University of Miami signee, Trump, playing under a special waiver, shot a 13-over 83 in the first round of The Annika and improved to a 5-over 75 in the second round but failed to make the cut.

General admission tickets for the Golf Channel Games are $81. Premium patron tickets are available for $380 that include food and non-alcoholic beverages. Premium ticketholders also get access to prime viewing locations. Parking is included.
