We also catch up with J.J. Spaun on keeping it stress-free, Wyndham Clark on rebuilding his ball-striking and working with Pat Coyner, Sepp Straka on testing swing changes in competition, and Akshay Bhatia on a new caddie, energy/vibes, and looking ahead to 2026.

Good load. Seth, how um how you kind of assess assess the round? Uh yeah, it was overall really good. Um nice to kind of get get back in competition. Uh haven’t played played in a while, so um driver was a little bit erratic out there at times, but got a few breaks off the tea and uh iron game and putting was pretty good. Chipping was really good today, too. So yeah, it was nice to kind of post a good score. How have you kind of been spending the offseason? Obviously since the RDER Cup, got your stuff going on with the family, but how’s the last couple months been? Yeah, it’s been good. Uh it’s been good. Uh been able to, you know, practice, prepare, uh work out a good bit. So, uh yeah, it’s been uh it’s been nice to kind of be home for that for that stretch and uh work on the game a little bit. Anything in particular swingwise, mental wise that you’ve been kind of trying to harp on? Uh a little bit of some swing stuff. Uh yeah, just uh just working on a few uh movement patterns. A little more extension on my right side. not sway as much to my to my right. Um so a little more centered and uh it’s still still day by day. I wouldn’t say I’ve I’ve gotten it the hang of it yet, but uh yeah, it was good today. Is that still? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Was that was that trying to correct a specific miss or anything that you had going on? Um my hands get kind of deep in my back swing and I get kind of moving off the ball so I got slide through it a little bit and uh it’s just uh wouldn’t say a specific miss, but uh it made me a little more steep in swinging to the right. Um and uh yeah, it’s just uh trying to stay a little more centered and and be a little more efficient with it. Is that maybe what you’re using this week for a little bit kind of to work on those in competition? Yeah, for sure. Um yeah, I’ve worked on it on the range a good bit uh the last uh month or so and um yeah, it’s nice to get in competition and and test it out. On the golf course, I don’t really think about my swing at all. Uh so yeah, it’s kind of nice to see where it is here. Is it hard when you’re working on things not to think about it when you’re on the golf course or is that easy for you not to not? I can’t hit a golf shot thinking about it. I mean, I’d shoot I’d shoot in the 80s just about every time if I was thinking about my golf swing. So, uh yeah, it’s uh it’s nice to see that the the training I’ve done in the gym and and on the range has kind of uh worked its way into my swing a little bit. I know you you had a good day out there scrambling. Uh but what is why is it so difficult to chip around here? Seemed to always kind of talk about that at this event. Yeah, it’s so grainy. Uh it’s really grainy and the greens are uh most of them are just subtly raised. It’s nothing crazy. Like if it was a easy lie, it wouldn’t be too bad, but uh they’re they’re just raised enough to where into the grain it’s hard to bump it into the slopes. Uh and if you’re lies into the grain, you can’t really loft it up. So you’re got to get a little creative sometimes uh and trying to figure out a way to to get the ball close to the hole. Thank you. Just do one quick one in in uh just in German. If you could just Yeah. Just go take us through the round real quick. [Music] [Music] Thank you, sir. Thank you. Appreciate it.
