When Tiger Woods Proved Everyone Wrong…😱⛳️🏌️

A victory would be awesome, too. A victory. Just days before his first pro tournament, this young man got laughed at, but his answer revealed his unstoppable mindset. To me, that comes off as uh a little cocky or brash, especially talking to the guys on tour that have been out here for years. I understand that. Um, why go to a tournament if you’re not going there to try and win? Second sucks. The third’s even worse. And that’s attitude I will always have. You’ll learn. He wanted to prove every doubter wrong. And the way he did it is just unbelievable. The best I’ve ever seen was Tiger Woods. You’ll learn. I have learned something. I think you’re better than I thought you’d be.

Just days before his first pro tournament in 1977, a young Tiger Woods was laughed at by Curtis Strange for saying he wanted to win. Strange thought it was arrogant, especially towards seasoned players.
But Tiger didn’t back down. He said he wasn’t competing to finish 2nd or 3rd – that wasn’t enough. His mindset was simple: WIN.
Tiger went on to prove every doubter wrong, winning his first tournament and many more after that, breaking records, and showing why he’s considered one of the greatest golfers ever. Even Curtis Strange had to admit he had underestimated him.
