I Found America’s Best Golf Resort – Black Desert Resort Utah
This might be the best new golf resort in America, and you’re not going to believe how affordable it is. Welcome to Black Desert in St. George, Utah. A two billion dollar golf resort that hosts both PGA and LPGA events, and honestly, one of the most impressive facilities I have ever stepped foot on. Set amongst the red sandstone of southern Utah, this resort truly has it all. A championship golf course with incredible mountain views, pristine bent grass fairways, and greens rolling between 12 and 13 year round. Plus a world-class hotel with every amenity you could dream of. Before your round, you warm up on a range equipped with personal Trackman systems at every bay and an 18hole putting course that gets you dialed in instantly. It’s impossible to pick a true signature hole because everyone is memorable, but the T-shot on the fifth is my personal favorite. Your green fee includes a caddy who delivers top tier service, and it doesn’t stop there. All food and beverage minus alcohol is included in your round. Look at this incredible halfway house, and make sure you load up on some of the best tacos you will ever have in your life. The resort features 447 hotel rooms, year-round heated pools and hot tubs, and my personal favorite, the 65 yd 19th hole overlooking the restaurant and resort. The perfect place to settle any match tied on 18. All in, this golf experience cost me only $275. One of the best values I’ve ever seen at a golf facility of this magnitude. Located just 2 hours from Vegas, Black Desert is a bucket list destination in every sense.
