Tiger Woods Demonstrates the GOATCode.ai Torque Bridge Drill

Take a look at the swing of Tiger. And I want to focus just on his feet because the torque bridge drill that God is giving you is trying to teach you exactly this. Did you catch it? Let me go back and just play it back and forth a few times and just focus on Tiger’s feet. I’ll zoom in here a little bit more so it’s easier to see. Do you see during the transition? So God is talking about during the torque bridge drill how you are creating internal rotation on that trail foot and that so that force is clockwise rotation, excuse me, counterclockwise rotation for a right-handed golfer and then it switches to clockwise rotation for a right-handed golfer. And you can see both feet doing this. This is why during the torque bridge drill I recommend doing this on a slick surface and socks so you can start to feel are you rotating correctly or are you pulling with the lead side? Are you pushing incorrectly off the trail side when you’re trying to rotate your core? You can see Tiger’s belly. Watch how much it drops here. This is part of the sternum drop that you guys have seen in the sternum trace that as he goes down and gets ready to fire his core to create rotation, his feet have to create torque in the opposite direction. And then as he comes down impact, another uh critical thing, if you’re trying to move the right hand fast or the trail hand fast, you’re going to create this torque. And you can see here as Tiger comes down impact, that’s all right hand hit. This is very different than how a lot of golfers and instructors have thought about the swing to be very leadside dominant. Both work, but this is clearly all rightand hit. And if you’re trying to swing like the goats, you need to feel this uh torque, this counterclockwise rotation going back, and then it switches as your core rotates in the opposite direction in the down swing.

  1. Why am I not seeing the counterclockwise rotation? Is this from tigers view or our view? I’m seeing the right foot twist to the right. And the left foot twisting to the right from his perspective
