Adam Schenk just won his first PGA Tour event — and he did it while putting one-handed for half the day 😳. In one of the strangest finishes we’ve seen, Schenk kept switching between one hand and two hands on the greens… even during a playoff against Billy Horschel.

In this episode, the crew breaks down everything that made this win so wild:
• Schenk’s one-handed putting stroke — and why he kept switching mid-round
• The windy conditions that made players hit six-irons from 131 yards
• Why indecision over putts at this level is so mind-blowing
• Comparisons to Ben Griffin’s putter switch last week
• How heavy winds affect putting, confidence, and decision-making
• The scramble-golf tangent: everyone overreads muni greens 😂

From bizarre putting mechanics to brutal weather, this might be the weirdest win of the PGA Tour season.

Speaking of shenanigans going on back there, did you guys see this Adam Shank out there putting with one hand to go off and win himself his very first PJ tour event? That was insane. That’s wild. He beat Billy Slice in a playoff. I thought Yeah. Uh who like I mean what an unfortunate name though. Like like the worst outcome in golf, the shank. I know it is crazy. But here’s the wild part. He wasn’t exclusively putting one-handed. He was switching it up periodically sort of as needed. And some of the uh the moments I was watching in some of the replays back, you could see like he was a little undecided standing over some of the putts where he would like go two-handed and then kind of go one-handed and then go back to two and hit it. Like just like I don’t know. I don’t know. That absolutely blows my mind that a professional doesn’t have his grip figured out that he’s just out there on the green like what am I going to do now? like and deciding like like oh like like right at go time like not even like okay I can tell this I’ll go with the onehanded because you can see what it’s doing. He’s just like I don’t know. Well that’s like Ben Griffin last week too. He won and he switched complete different putters. You know what it really reminds me he didn’t switch putters like per hole mid mid swing. That is true. That is true. For me, it reminds me of like being at a local MUN with Josh and not knowing what side of the ball he’s going to stand on the ball. I mean, right-handed. Uh, it was a lot of winds, though. It was super super windy over there. And like, what does that have to do with your putting stroke? I I still think it affects putting wind, right? If it’s 30 mph winds, wait, one-handed or two-handed and you got to have because of the winds. I mean, I I’ve never played in that heavy winds, but it looked crazy. Like, dudes hit that one dude hit a 5iron 131. 131 out and he’s got a sixiron and he’s like I don’t think this is it. Give me the five. Wow. And I mean he didn’t like full swing like he kind of hit like this like knock down but he just wanted to stay low and just kind of get below the wind and run up there and he was still short. Five iron short 131 out. Wind does affect putts, right? It’s got to You would think Well, the problem is for me wind has severe effect on me mentally. I Yeah, cuz I’m always like, “Well, geez. Yeah, but with the winds maybe I’ll try and hit like a like a pull cut draw. And I was just start like doing all this crazy. I was like, listen, hit the ball with a flag. Like just calm down. Like swing your your one swing you got. Like quit all this. I get myself in trouble. A lot of times most of my golf I plays in scrambles and stuff like that. And I feel like as a whole, all of my friends or anybody I’m ever playing in a scramble with overread the greens. Oh yeah. So much. Like, oh yeah, hit it right here. and it and it’ll go in for sure. I hit it walks right over that that spo and it’s like it doesn’t break at all. It’s like oh I guess it straight. Everybody thinks that like you know we’re playing like Oakmont and like the Greens are rolling at a 17 and it’s like no like we’re just at your regular MUN at a scramble which means they didn’t scalp these things. So I mean they’re already bogging down cut the break in half at least. I feel like I have a a decent eye for reading greens.
