[Music] [Applause] number 17 been a monster in the late innings this year. One ball, no strikes. Now, keep in mind if Otani is able to keep this game going, it’s not your normal hitters that follow him. Dave Roberts pinch hit for bats and Smith and Freeman. So it’s Rojas rushing and Hernandez that would follow. Two and0. [Applause] Two in the bank here in the ninth to avoid the shut out. Two to Otani. Ball three. [Applause] [Music] Oh, baby. Oh, boy. Look at Show just waving him off. Waving off the thing. Yeah. Show’s turning around telling his dugout stay put and fine. Look and that’s 100%. 100% going after him. You have three 0. You figure you’re going to end up walking him. And that’s not done right. Right up there. Not up there. That’s not done right. And so but here’s here’s the thing on on the San Diego like that right there is unreal. That again just adds to the this guy is on a completely different level. the mystique. It’s unreal. Like because emotionally right now like I’m screaming. I’m mfing everybody. I am just like seriously like that’s not a that that’s unreal. That just again that adds to the the legend. This game has gone completely off the rails. This is Suarez just gets you know accolades right now because you’re protecting your guy. I cannot believe show is like again he he’s at another level. He is at another level [Music] talking to Jose Glacius on this three-0 pitch and then you got to be sitting over there thinking this guy really is not human. That didn’t rattle him. So, not only did it not rattle him, but he’s telling, you know, the Dodgers not to come out and then afterwards he’s going over to the Padre dugout and he’s talking to him and and I guarantee like you’re the Padres’s and you’re sitting there and you’re going, “Wow, our our bad like you know, we shouldn’t have hit you because that is that’s 180° from any reaction anybody else.” I’ve never even seen that. I’ve never seen that. This will be a box score you look at and you look at Otani’s line on this stays one for four with a hit by pitch completely nondescript but those that watch this we’ll talk about this for a long time when you try to explain how different Sho Otani

  1. I don't know much about baseball but after watching this I learned 2 things: Shohei has great character and Suarez does not.

  2. Ohtani is disciplined and respectful. I prefer the Dodgers destroy the Padres honorably with the final Score than to watch two packs of wild dogs fight each other.

  3. あの状況で笑いながらパドレスベンチに行けるのはサイコパス過ぎてパドレスの選手は怖かっただろうな。

  4. best baseball player of all time as well as most professional. the way he reacts and plays the game is so sinscere and respectful, I'm glad todays kids are going to have him as the role model / standard of how to present yourself on the field.

  5. Shohei, the best example of a role model in professional sports today especially when athletes are full of ink tattoos and want to portray a bad boy image.

  6. I mean, the Dodgers spent $700 million on him. They have a right to be angry when he gets hit, placing him at risk of getting hurt badly.

  7. After the World Series this is my favorite moment of the regular season. Ohtani really is a class act. Dodger fans are and should be proud the he is at the helm of our franchise for the next decade or so. True leadership on display here.

He puts his hand up and everyone listens.

  8. you can tell the padres felt bad especially when he went to the dugout, the body language showed like damn.. we probably shouldnt have hit sho.. but then who do you hit? sho mookie and freeman, muncy, smith, keke, rojas, pages, you name it all those dudes are like the nicest people lol

  9. When Ohtani was hit by a pitch, a Padres fan's child on the right behind him was overjoyed. It made me sad.

Baseball, the sport Ohtani loves, is not like that!‼️

I felt that the child of a father who is a fan of a thug-like team would have a thug-like way of thinking.
