This has come out beautifully. Oh yes, you can say that again. And what a way for Mark Leeman to bound up the leaderboard with an eagle out of the sand. And suddenly he is within three shots of the lead and equal second place. Well, that was a masterclass, wasn’t it, Ally? cuz I think he took his lower lofted sand iron there and made a more rounded swing. I’m sure we’re going to get a replay of that at some stage, but he chased it up there. He’s You can see the dark grass that he’s got to landed into. That means he’s into the grain. It’s a more rounded swing. It came out quite low. Couple of bounces, a little bit of check. Does not get any better. textbook. Here’s Abby Barra. He’s going to hold that long bomb. Oh, he’s very nearly hold it from the tea on the next hole. Andrew Martin on the party hole. Pen just started so strongly. Paul Gout. Yeah. 147 here on the fourth. There’s no breeze to be had right at the moment. You guys might flicking only into a 99 and this has gone so high in the air but on a good line. Mark Leeman in his as well. Well, here he is in the seat down the fairway trying to attack that back flag. Oh, that’s so nearly dropped in here at 5 pin on the front right today. He dialed yet again. Oh, it would have been too much to ask, wouldn’t it? Brian Fox nails his wedge into one up to the party hole and Felix Campbell can get this one to roll. He loves it up here in Queensland. was trying to win for three times in a row last week. We get back to the action here at two. Marco Pen in his second shot. What a shot. That only from 73 m for a big hitter. That’s some sort of touch. Now over to Smith. Great angle here, Nick. And he’s just seen Pen’s ball stop and he’s only 77 m here. That is off on a great line. He’s hit this a bit higher. Just needs to travel. Oh yeah, bit of this shaping up well today. Minw a little bit closer here. Oh, and this ball’s coming out nice and low. We’ll get to the hole. It’s incredible. Things are stacking up quite nicely for us, aren’t they? Off it goes quickly in for Fox. Yeah, don’t blink, you’ll miss it. 119 on a good line. Brilliant. Nearly perfect from Ryan Fox there at three. Back to the fourth for Marco Penge. Great. What a start from one of the big names. You beauty nine. Adrian now hit up. This is his third. And it is near on perfect. Now the 2013 and 2019 champion Adam Scott to start with a flush. Never looked like missing. That’s a very positive puck for Adam Scott who by his own admission has struggled on the greens. Adam Scott for birdie. That one drops like the one at the first did follow down two. Either way, he’s been peppering the flag in the first three holes. 130 m. That’s a fantastic shot. Depends how brave he wants to be here with only 107. Yeah, cuz that pin is only three from the right. And that needs to go a little. It certainly is. Oh, he is dialed in today. I knew that was in about two feet out just slightly left to right. Yeah, nothing in this touch. He’s been on song today with his putt up and again. Well, that’s four out of five. What an impressive start from the Englishman. prepares to putt on the fifth. He’s a little closer than Adam Scott. What a roll and what a start for New Zealander playing best golf career. See whether to rank and make another booty. He better. Let’s go back to seven now with Daniel Hillier. What touch from the Kiwi? So nearly rolling that in for Eagle. So he had to chip out. So this is his third shot in the seven. New holder of a DP World Tour card for the season 2026. And that is a superb shot. Incredible. Imagine what that birdie could be. Absolutely incredible. Now Brazil’s Fred Bondi. The Brazilians can party a party around. Only 219 for this young man. And that is on a solid line left of the pin. That’s a nice bounce off the shoulder of the bunker. That pin eye with an iron for two on nine into the wind. Welcome to 2026. Ready? 148. This on a good line here. He’s taken direct access to this pin. Oh, what a shot. Insanely good. He’s one of your mates, Nick, Rod Pampler. Always great to see him on the course. Enjoying life over 50 these days. Quail flex that one up. exceptional and it catches that right edge. He’s canned another another one for the rank and files. It’s Kazuma Kabori. They’re coming from everywhere to make a run up for his fifth birdie of the day. Look at that move from Kazuma Kabori from the order of merit winner here on the challenger PGA Tour of Australasia himself. Now Hal Voron who’s had a birdie on the party hole. He’s hoping to back it up on 18. It’s looking very good. What a way to finish. That’s five on the troers and not a Eagle. Birdie Birdie in the last four holes. Track man thanks to Rolex. Now by a stair golf the age of the world semi break down. What a golf shot. It’s averaging slightly over its par over the two days as well. And all these players were only hitting a wedge into this green. He’s got it there and in. It’s the sort of conflict that can make a big difference at the end of the day. Just a lot of people. Starting it out on an aggressive line. And aggressive he was. He knows the situation. Check one of the boxes. It’s aggressive too flag there at 17. Look at this putting stroke. Just beautiful. Quickly in Ryan Fox sand wedge from 113 looks great. looks even better now. Hopefully he can finish on a high because the last hour and a half. This man is unstoppable. This he can be the outright leader. Certainly been part of it. Just about wrapping up our day. It’s been a long one as we made up for lost time. Four players sharing the lead. Ding Kabori Quail and Brett Ranken. The Queenslander who’s had the luxury of sitting back and watching the others try and reach the score posted. Uh 69 followed by an eight under a 63 today. How do you reflect on your opening 36 holes here in Brisbane? Pretty happy for the most part. Um, yesterday was a bit frustrating. I had a hole in one, but didn’t really do much apart from that, but I made up for it today, so it was good. Um, you’ve just birdied the last four holes to take the lead. Can you talk me through that closing stretch? Yeah. Um, the wind dropped off quite nicely. Um, so I knew coming in 15, 16, 17 was good opportunities because, uh, I knew I had wedges in my hands. So, I uh hit hit a few close and then was able to birdie 18 as well, which was a nice bonus. So, um how was the reception on the 17th when you made that birdie? Yeah, 17 was good. I butchered the throw though. I uh went too short. I reckon last year I went too deep and hit someone in the second row. Uh I didn’t want that to happen. So, I went short and then Broki didn’t quite catch it. But, we’ll have another chance tomorrow. Um you had a great season last season making the playoffs. Um what are your learnings from that from making it into Abu Dhabi? Um and what you gonna carry into the new season? I think like Abu Dhabi and Dubai were really good. Um just we don’t I mean obviously we play against great fields week in week out but the Rolex series are a little bit different in the fact that you got guys within the top 10 of the world and I was fortunate enough to play with Bob McIntyre round three of Abu Dhabi and then like moving forward I want to want my standards to be kind of what he does. Um trying to let be a bit harder on myself with good shots and bad shots. So that was a great uh learning experience in the way that moving forward I know what is required to perform at that level. And obviously you’re not at home but you’re not too far from home. Um how good is it to be back in Australia to kickstart the 2026 season? And what can you tell me about Royal Brisbane itself? Yeah, really good. Um RQ is a great golf course. Um it’s just uh more so the people that’s out here. like there’s the crowds are so big this week and um we all all the players we love playing in front of a good crowd so uh uh yeah hopefully it gets better over the weekend and you finished 15th here last season so looking forward to the weekend yeah I played good last year last year got reduced to 54 holes I think so hopefully that doesn’t happen hopefully thunderstorms and hail stay away but sure we’ll see well good luck this weekend thanks for your time thanks to watch another DP world tour video click here and to subscribe. Australia needs and should have a major championship. The Yanks have too many , the uspga should be sacrificed….from a Brit.
I cannot quite believe what I'm watching here, they are making this course look like a local pitch and putt.
Great stuff guys.
C est quoi cette foire ? La fête de la bière ?
The editing on this video is all over the place
It would be nice if the broadcaster would post the long put distance.
Get new video editor – 🚽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
Pourquoi on voit les moins bon au classement 😅
Jeez its well seen that the camera operators down there must not cover golf events as their camera work is all over the place compared to what we see on PGA Tour and European coverage.
theses players are too dam good 0,0
Any chance of putting the highlights in chronological order, rather than just random shots out of sequence??
Why did I just watch Penge playing the 4th followed by him playing the 2nd? Please get it right.
Tom Vaillant scored -7 not a single clip of these shots, always the same players ahead, becoming annoying ! and same thing for the live TV
Editor has one job and he blew it
I hope the editing isn’t this bad for the final days lol
What,,,,??. You going LIV GOLF??. LOUD MUSIC at a professional golf tournament??…. No thanks!,,
You call that Highlights ! Not a picture of Tom Valiant ….. le réalisateur était bourré ou quoi ?
Appalling job. What a terrible montage
Not one shot from Cameron Davis and he's only 3 behind?
i have no clue who was interviewed at the end, no name came up,
This is ridiculous to watch!!! It goes backwards in time from Leishman's hole out for eagle from the sand. It makes no sense the order the highlights are played. Jimney crickets, horrible.
Unwatchable
Weird choice to show an in-progress shot of the leaderboard at 12:08 – the guy being interviewed at the end is Kazuma Kobori, a pro golfer from NZ. Kazuma was only through 17 holes at that particular time; he then birdied the 18th to take sole lead.
imho, they should have shown Kazuma getting his birdie on the 18th, and then a final leaderboard!
This highlight video is Stupid!
And round 1 video didn't seem right, now that I think about it??!
COME ON —- DO BETTER!!! 🤓
put yards into the text box with meters please. @dpworldtour
What's going on with all the yellow hats?
Good ⛳
It’s Royal Queensland, not Royal Brisbane. There is a Brisbane Golf Club at Yeerongpilly.
It is quite the privilege to play Royal Queensland, even to walk the course. It’s a great course. Former Pro Greg Norman.
where’s min woo? he’s playing great
