Some of our favourite hooded wetsuits for Winter 2024, the best value, the most flexible and the warmest.
hi there Jeff here from the wets suit Center talking to you about our favorite hooded winter wet suits for this year breaking them down into the entry level so the cheapest ones on the market and best value for money the most flexible and then the warmest hooded wet suits on the market as well kicking it off with the oal Epic 654 hooded wet suit this one comes in at 229 it’s 100% super stretch near P from top to bottom it’s got the windshield on the front and back fully glued and blind stitch which means it’s not going to let any water through the seams th lining all in all not the most flexible wet suit in the world but certainly very warm and great value for money next up we’ve got the sekin session this one comes in at 279 bit more expensive it’s a near pre free wet suit using the new new wave technology fully glued and blind stitched and you have got critical taping on the seams on the inside as well also comes with a low pile thermal lining around the kidneys but this suit has the edge in terms of flexibility super flexy 3 mil Hood 543 thickness a great value near P free hooded wetsu next up we move on to flexibility and you have to mention obviously the O’Neal hyperfreak it comes in at 339 it’s 54 but it’s actually 54 plus which means it’s 5 1/2 mil 4 and 1/2 mil on the arms don’t lose any sort of flexibility but you still retain a little bit of extra warmth so the O’Neal hyper freak long-standing one of our best sellers and one of the most flexible suits on the market next up is a good Contender against the O’Neal Hy freak the XL hooded comp plus comes in at 374 it’s super super flexible just like the hyper freak you’ve got all of that inner taping and everything as well so a super stretchy hooded wet suit but the benefit of this suit is you have a low pile infrared thermal lining running through this suit as well so it’s probably going to have the edge in terms of warmth and a great combination of flexibility but also warmth so definitely a contender for best flexible wet suit on the market this year so as you move into the warmest wet suits on the market you can expect the price to increase for $399 you’ve got the O’Neal psycho 64 6.5 4 .5 mil thick near that liquid taping on the outside you’ve got the XDS air firewall front and back and on the inside of the suit it’s taped again and then you also get that furnace carbon lining the whole way through super warm wet suit but not cheap last but not least we’ve got the all new XL Infinity wet the inside of the suit you’ve got that radiant rebound the whole way through which is an award-winning thermal lining the benefit of this suit is that it has probably a little bit more flexibility versus warmth over the Psycho Tech but the downside is it’s 30 quid more at $429.95 but an amazing wet suit if warmth is your priority so hopefully that’s helpful if you’re considering buying a hooded wet suit so pop on in and try one on

Which of those is completely waterproof? I've got one where my body warms the water and I felt really cold in water
