The number of golf rounds played at Winnipeg’s municipal courses in 2025 marked a notable increase.
A report indicates 124,433 rounds of golf were played at Winnipeg’s city-owned courses, continuing a trend that has seen a 34 per cent increase in play between 2020 and 2025.
The average number of annual rounds played during those years was 106,885. The number compares to an average of 79,825 rounds played per year from 2010 to 2019, prior to the COVID-inspired golf boom.
Winnipeg’s property and development committee is expected to discuss the report this week.
