I'm looking to put together a setup in my garage (about 18'x18'). For reference the first two pics are 0.5x lens and the latter two are normal. Using a Square, really just want to be able to use this a few times a week and not have to worry too much about setup.

I've considered SportScreen, MeTech, G-Trak, and doing a DIY EMT conduit frame, as well as raising my garage door lift height to potentially making things easier. Right now my best option for swinging (right handed) seems to be hitting toward the door, but that makes the setup shorter and requires more cash to build or effort to setup. On the other hand, hitting toward the back wall has swing space issues, but no real height/lateral limitations for the enclosure. Budget is ideally under $1k (otherwise I'd just do G-Trak and not post about this at all).

Any thoughts are welcome!

As a side note: wondering if anyone has been able to create a DIY G-Trak setup? That has been my favorite option so far but it's so expensive.

I think with a budget under 1k, you’re not going to be able to justify a lot of things to make your life a bit more convenient. Such as a side mount garage door which would truly open up your space.

Do you have to have a projector setup? I think at staying under 1k, you might be able to get a net like the one from Costco and a hitting mat and then you should at least have something you can us and rearrange in the space that works best for you. The other plus is being able to drag it outside in the summer.

Move over head to side motor , either build a Murphy or a screen with track curtains and a net over it…and get an AC cause I about melted in south Texas and build indoor sim
