Nelly Korda is engaged!
The LPGA star and Olympic gold medalist said yes to boyfriend Casey Gunderson. She announced the happy news on Instagram on Friday, Nov. 28, sharing a series of photos of the couple.
“In this life… & the next 💍,” she wrote in the caption.
One of the photos in the carousel shows Gunderson sitting on a couch with Nelly, 27, lying on his lap. She’s holding a newspaper with a front-page headline that reads, “We’re Getting Married! Love Is in the Air.”
Other shots show the pair embracing and posing together on a beach at sunset. They even took a dip in the water in some of the photos. Their dog also joined them for a portrait.

The comments of the post were filled with well-wishes for the soon-to-be-married couple. Nike’s official Instagam account wrote, “Just Did It 💍,” a nod to the brand’s slogan.
NBA star LeBron James commented, “Congratulations!!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾,” while WNBA guard Caitlin Clark wrote, “congrats!!!❤️.”
Nelly’s sister, Jessica Korda, who previously played on the LPGA tour, quipped, “Sorry boys, she’s off the market. 💃 🤝💃.”
According to his LinkedIn page, Gunderson is vice president of the Port Charlotte, Fla.-based engineering firm Florida Engineering.
The couple’s engagement comes just days after Nelly, a two-time major champion, capped off her ninth season competing on the LPGA Tour with a solo third-place finish at the CME Group Tour Championship in Naples, Fla., on Nov. 23.
Earlier in the month, she competed alongside Clark, 23, in the pro-am at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican in Belleair, Fla., on Nov. 12. During the tournament, Nelly — who is currently ranked No. 2 in the world behind Atthaya Thitikul — debuted her new Nike golf shoes, the Nike Free Golf “Nelly Korda,” per Golf.com.

Speaking about the shoes’ design features on the course, she revealed that the white, red and yellow color palette is a nod to her zodiac sign, Leo. The shoes are also adorned with sentimental charms, including a smiley face and a tennis racket.

Nelly’s younger brother, Sebastian Korda, is a professional tennis player, and her parents, Petr Korda and Regina Rajchrtová, both played tennis professionally for the Czech Republic in the ’80s and ’90s. Sebastian, 25, announced his own engagement to longtime partner Ivana Nedvěd on Nov. 10.
Nelly was previously in a relationship with NHL player Andreas Athanasiou.
