Kai Trump is getting closer to her dreams. The eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. is competing in her first LPGA invitational. Kai shared all of her details in her latest vlog, a 40-minute video that shows some of the highlights in the weeks leading up to the tournament, including her friends’ support, and her juggling skills as she shifts between completing her calculus homework for high school and participating in her first LPGA event.

“I’m giving this tournament my all. Like practice, eating, everything,” she said.
Kai also addressed the pressure she feels when developing an online presence while also getting started on her career as an athlete. She said that while it does get to her at times, she understands that putting yourself out there means having to deal with people’s opinions, no matter what they are.
“That’s what happens. You’re gonna get love, and you’re gonna get hate,” she said.

Kai’s performance in the tournament
Kai was introduced as a teen from Jupiter, Florida, who’s already signed on to become the University of Miami’s latest golf team member. After competing and putting in a great performance, Kai was seen signing some autographs and some golf balls alongside kids who looked up to her.
“She did very very good,” said Emma, her friend who frequently makes appearances in most of Kai’s videos. Kai concluded the video by recording a message to her future self from her bedroom. She’s seen in her pajamas, speaking to her camera. “To future Kai, I hope you played well, but I hope you enjoyed it. Hope you enjoyed the experience out there, because you’re playing with the best players out there. This is the top tier. Take it easy. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Some bad shots are gonna happen,” she concluded.

Kai played as the youngest player in the field and addressed the cameras after her performance. “I was more nervous than I expected. But I hit a lot of great shots out there. Being my first LPGA event, now I know how it goes. I felt a little out of order in the beginning, but I got it going afterwards. I learned a lot. It was amazing. I had a great time out there.”
In Kai’s most recent Instagram post, she shared some photos of her signing day with the University of Miami, sharing her excitement over getting to play golf at the school. “A little late but here’s my signing day photo dump. Can’t wait for the next 4 years!” she captioned the post, adding a green and an orange heart.
Her mother, Vanessa Trump, supported her with a sweet message. “I’m very proud of you, Kai.”
