[Applause] It’s kind of middle left, not far from there. Straight in for Mark Leechman. Parrot one, birdie at two. He too is on the move here in Brisbane. Perennial contender is Mark Leechman. Could today be the day? It’s the perfect leave and he would have got a good read off his playing partner. This to tie the lead for Min Woo Lee. And just like that, he’s on top. All right, as we mentioned, there’s birdies to be taken out there as we look at the added ass highlights. And this man has taken more opportunities than anyone so far of the latter groups. He has found his way to feature Daniel Gale through most of the days. Of course, the dramatic BMW in his garage in the next few days from his hole in one, but he has racked up not one but three birdies so far through his first four holes. An incredible start taking advantage of these early par fours. This was Cam Davis from a great angle on two. Oh, almost an eagle there on his second hole, but he would roll that in for a birdie. He was hoping it went down. The 31-year-old from New Zealand, Nick Vog, has done a really good job of working his way back into this event. Was level par on day one, but then a couple of five under par 66ers followed and that was beautiful as well. Rewarding birdie at the second hasn’t lost his touch. We should know that he can be a emotional man at times. We’ve seen that he’s on the rise and he’s found his putting range early today. That was for Eagle at nine. So taking advantage of his length on the par five. So let’s update you now. And Minu Lee has joined our three overnight leaders at top of the BMW Australian PGA Championship leaderboard early on the final day. Daniel Gale, as we said, the big mover, but there is contenders everywhere. And a great day of golf ahead. Shot on the par three sets up perfect for the left-hander. A little draw to this front right pin position. Oh, and taking advantage. Beautiful. Had an early bird. He hasn’t been able to add to that. And there’s a great opportunity for Elvis who fought back superbly yesterday. Fine round of 66 on Saturday. Now good. Mark Leechman. He’s kept just short of the waist area, but hanging Lie Wind off the left as well. Pins on the right though. So it’s all coming together there. Yeah. Breeze off the right. It is a generous fairway down here. Oh, this is his worst swing of the week. This is miles left. There is OB over there. Had to go back to the second T. Yeah, he hasn’t made a mistake with this one. This is right down the middle. give himself a chance of salvaging at least a bogey. Well, he’s got no one perhaps better in the world to coach him out of this moment. And this is where the Catties really earn their money. I know which one he’d rather. All right, let’s go to four. Cameron Davis from the uh top part really of this green from up on high down the tier and in Mark Leechman has been part of the fabric of Australian golf for so long, two decades now. That is a birdie for him. Will his big Aussie win come in the next Fortnite cuz he has just tied the lead with back-to-back birdies. Now David Poo for his birdie. He’s on top alone now. I get the feeling this leaderboard’s going to be changing by the hole. For bogey for Anthony Quail. So a painful double bogey is on the cards here for Anthony Quail. Not what he would have imagined. They certainly did, Nick. And this one down left to right. Certainly come out of the box to swing it nicely. That one headed down the left side. Is that a plane or his golf ball we’re listening to? Well, these golf balls sometimes go as quick as a plane. Up and over a shoulder here from Mim with Lee for Birdie. And he’s back on top again. And this is a little bit of a different vista. It’s intimidating in its own way with one of the world’s biggest bunkers to confront the moment you stand on the tea. It’s 17 of the party hole. I’ve always thought it’s a left-hander hole. Come on, baby. Oh wow. That’s as close as it gets without going in. How close? Oh, that close. I can’t see this getting inside 6 to 7 ft here at the best. He took it on and it’s taken its toll for Minu Lee. Puge back on the third T. Slightly different breeze today. Left to right here. G drives the ball well. High ball flight. That did not deviate. Perfect. If he keeps driving like that, he’s going to take some beating. This man impervious to the pressure at the moment. And he is stroking them beautifully. Purge again the outright leader and it looks as if he’ll have at least a two-shot lead. He’s going to try and cut this one into this back right pin. Just soaring off a little six iron there, Nick. And this one is fading back beautifully. This looks amazing. Oh well, you couldn’t put it in a better spot. What a T-shot this was by David Poo. The lead is now three. Well, 302 to that bunker on the left downwind. That is definitely in range. Watch out. He’s gone over the bunker. That is miles up. So lucky. which is where we go with Bberger to try and get to 12 under power himself just short of the green at the par 57. So he’s got all the slope to deal with from that side. Pitch back towards him. It’s a nice touch shown there at six to Voke for a birdie there at seven. His second of the date. Well, you’d think he’d learned from the first two, wouldn’t you, Ally? And this one, he’s been hoisted way up in the green. Looks like a good length in the air. That’s a cracker. Alishman. He hold one from this bunker for Eagle before. Can he do it again? Surely not. Oh, what a shot. [Applause] He’s got to 11 under. And that might not be his limit. Daniel Gale has really emerged. And trophy to go with it. Now Adam Scott second into the second seventh should I say. Yes 240 same as Minu Lee here. This on a good line a little bit right of the pin will fly all the way there. That’s a good looking swing. Spaniard has certainly got his game under control at the moment. You see the path of the ball track thanks to Rolex. Quickly Adam Scott for eagle. Won’t be eagle but will be a birdie you would suspect. Minmu when he won two years ago he was able to give us a great exhibition wasn’t he around the greens. All below the feet of Cam Davis launching this all the way back to the flag. can throw the receipt for that one away cuz it’s a keep up and he takes his first of the day. Actually only played the par fives in three under for the tournament. So the 10 par fives he’s played so far only in three under. And there’s Scott as we said getting his first red number for the day. Euan, where does our our leader? Well, he just got relief from the camera tower behind the green. It was impeding his back swing. He has two options here. He can land it short somewhere around the top of the ridge and let it release up or he can go the flop shot and leading the tournament. I thought that wasn’t the wise option, but that’s why he’s leading. Turned out to be a great choice. What a shot. What tarts he showing? So where is the challenger going to come from? Could it be Mark Leeman? Has second to himself for now. Can Ding join Leashman at 14 under. He sure can. So, here’s another whose day started a little sluggishly, but he’s on a real upswing now. That’s four birdies in five holes. But this is the man that they are pursuing. huge and Daniel Gale here at the short par four. What a week. He’s absolutely drilled that left to right slinging drive this week. Not sure if you saw the ball speed there, Matt. 192 mph for later on in the year. All important. Daniel Hillier here at 11. Up and over down the hill and down in it. Well, he said he needed to make one and make it he did. and 134. He can take dead aim here. Pivot will hold this one for Minmu if he wants to take a run at the back nine. And that’s a fantastic shot. 156 for Min here. And this one on a very, very good line. The wind has dropped. Oh, good shot. That wasn’t too far from a slam dunk. So, we saw vote from uh the front left of the green. He’s got this for birdie. Rolls it in. Well, another one joins the minus 13 club. Go back to them shortly as we go up to Voke. Just left the green on 12 pin in the back left section today. Keep going. Nicely does. About as close as he could have got it from there. Now here’s Hillia. He he laid right back on 12. Trying to get after this right back flag stick. And that’s a delightful shot. He almost needs another one to get this all the way back there. Bit of up and over a ridge right there. A little bit downhill wandering down. What an incredible effort. That’s excellent. Leashman for Birdie to close it to two. Over to you David Pu. He’s got that difficult four five footer maybe for par. The line is pretty much straight at the hole. I’m thinking it’s where he’s headed. And that’s where it went. Cameron Smith in second place, but unfortunately his round is uh has gone the other way this year. Ding for birdie. Solid luck on the tea here at 12 is Minu Lee out with what looks to be like a hybrid. Yeah. 318 today. This started off on a good line for M. Very well struck. Just should be left with the bumpers. Yeah. There it is. Just stay there. Mark Leashman territory. Another one there for Kabori to Daniel Gale. It’s at 14 and a couple of skins for this. And in it goes. Who bet he’s in the last three holes for Gale? Same part as Mark Leeman. Can he do equally as well? Pretty good. to minus 15. He walks it in. T on 14 has to work some Warnable magic. You can just picture, can’t you? A a small Mark Leashman. [Applause] Speaking of giving it a whack, Minu Lee come Finchy. This one headed right. He missed it left here yesterday. Yes, it’s in the trouble down the right, Gowi. And uh you all know all too well. It’s the way we were brought up the same thing. Get it in play that there’s no way we could swing at that speed without swinging technique. Hoping for that at 14’s Mark Leechman taking the high road. This green’s very firm coming from the front. So hard to get that shot close. Got to make it. Well, now he really has to take advantage of the par five. Yes, extremely capable player. Superstar really. And look at this to finish. Almost a two for Penge. What a field we’ve had. Poo. Off it goes. And it’s right by it. He is not letting up. David Poo. All right. This is what Minw has to deal with. Yeah. Not a great lie. Paramount grass here that’s just come out along the ground. I seen Mark Leechman do a similar shot yesterday. It’s tough out of that rough. Only rough you get all week. We don’t call it paramata grass in Queensland, Gi. But anyway, I know what you meant. It’s horrendous stuff. Regional grass, if you will. Nick Vogue, just don’t go in it. Exactly. It’s been steady today. Vogue blemish free. Unflapable. Right back where it’s a little quieter. This for par for Minwi. Unfortunate timing, but common timing for a drop shot at 14. Come on now. Straight out but not straight in. Maybe the mustache as well. Daniel Gale. One more thrill. Why not? He will be the second happiest man. The end of this tournament. Brand new BMW. And that’s not all he’ll receive either. This is a strong finish. Had a lot more seconds than firsts in my career. It’s It’s not easy. Most of Nick’s stories over the weekend haven’t been about seconds and thirds, but anyway, approach from Ding. That’ll give him a chance. It’s a pretty hole there. 16 with all the a feeling he’s going to be taking dead aim. Still plays very well. Well, they are the backbone of our business of the golfing world. That’s for sure. Our PJ members, shout out to them all. That’s a big part from Daniel Hillier. He climbs to 14 as well. He’s not giving up. Beautifully read, beautifully executed. He is not giving up either. In it goes. [Music] This is Dean. Can he do something special? Almost a one hop into the hole [Applause] to cut the lead to a couple. What a lovely pump from Winnie Ging. This one out to the right drawing back. He’s got plenty on it. Needs to come down. Oh, [Applause] so good. If he can put this close, it will get very interesting. He’s got to look at birdie over ahead of Adam Scott here at 17. Oh, this is not easy. Alli big right to left funneling down to the hole. Can he? Yes, he can. Adam Scott gets the party pumping. [Music] on 18. [Music] He’ll have to settle for four and the margin will stay at two pending this forthcoming par from David Pew. Yeah, this one going up the right hand side actually is going well right this one. Oh, look out. Well, the perfect shot is a fade back into the right breeze. That’s called a holdup shot. Can he do that? This one has gone high. It is traveling towards the pin. Looks very good. A stunning shot by Midwood Lee. Now Puj back on the tea. Anywhere but the fairway bunker here. Just anywhere but that bunker at 291 in the middle. Well, he’s certainly gone after this one. Flared it out to the right, but it should be okay. Finish off in style. Here was many people’s pick heading into Championship Sunday. He’s put up a good fight, Minui, but is going to come up short. [Applause] Well, he needs three putts for the win. It looks like he’ll only need two. I’m sure he’ll mark that and wait for his playing partners. An occasion to savor for Spain. Victory for David Pew in the BMW Australian PGA. Well, the last time a Spaniard won the PGA was Sebie Bayer back in 1981 at Royal Melbourne. He’s going to go down in the history books. And that’s where he’s going next. David Puge, flawless out there today. Yes. Thank you very much, Matt. Your third professional victory, but your first DP World Tour win. You’ve done it at such a a tournament with such a rich history. It has an illustrious list of champions, including your countrymen, Sevie Bayister, back in 1981. How sweet does this victory taste? No. Yeah, it feels feels amazing. um you know really had a lot of u close calls um in a few events you know um throughout this year and last year and kind of wasn’t able to you know pull it through and you know it feels unbelievable especially winning here in Australia and they have awesome awesome golf so I’m really really excited and happy starting out today there were 20 or 30 players that had a chance to win this tournament by the fourth hole it was yours to lose how nervous were you starting the day because that was quite an emphatic beginning yeah I mean I I was pretty nervous to be fair. Um, you know, especially, you know, you kind of thinking about the past a little bit. You know, what what I could have done a little better. Um, you know, and and yeah, I mean, I was definitely nervous, but I think I, you know, I kind of kind of kept my my composure really well, and obviously that start helped a lot. Well, conversely, coming down the stretch, you had a few people throwing in a challenge at you, but you were so unflapable. You kept attacking, kept playing aggressively. Were you aware of the situation? No. Yeah, for sure. Um, you know, it’s it’s kind of hard in this golf course. Um, you still need to attack a little bit, right? And with with these greens and and how how tough they are. Um, and yeah, I mean, I was definitely aware. Um, but, you know, managed to to do a good job of it. And finally, you’ve got a lot of Spanish friends and your fiance here. Anyone in particular you’d like to thank? No, I mean, obviously everybody, right? But, you know, my my fiance, um, she’s been with me, you know, throughout the last seven years. Um, she’s she’s incredible. Also, you know, my parents um her family, you know, they’re I think we’re a really um close group, you know, really we we get along really well and you know, it’s it’s just amazing the support I get and and yeah, I’m really excited about it. We won’t hold you up any longer. Congratulations. Go and make it official. Thanks. Yes. Thank you very much, Matt. Now, if I can ask the general manager of marketing of BMW Australia, Mr. Alex McClean to present the Joe Kirkwood Cup to the 2025 BMW Australian PGA Champion David Pew. [Applause]

Not much of highlights on the champ. They rather showing a bogey of other players than a birdie of the champion. So weird…
