into the weekend for the final event of the season on the ladies European tour. Ander Lua Costa delso opened Espa the Spanish open on the line and much more at Rail Guad or last year this event was won by Carlott Saganda the defending champion with a third day 68 surely too far back just outside the top 10 at seven under par. The race to end the season as the LE number one is going to go to the final day. Mimi Rhodess and Shannon Tan shooting exactly the same score for the third day in a row. A 70 from both players on Saturday. As long as Shannon Tan finishes level or above roads on the leaderboard, she will be crowned as the order of merit champion. Tan holding this one at the 11th on the way to eight underpar. They are both tied for sixth. The 2023 champion here, Aditi Ashok also on that mark at 8 under par. A typical Ashok birdie putt at the 17th. The Indian with a round of 69. Anna Hang has won twice this season as a 16-year-old and she’s in with a chance of jumping into the top 10 of the rankings thanks to a third day 67. Some excellent golf from the Canadian and some pretty good stuff as well from Smeila Sonibu who shared the lead after a first round 66. The Dane in fourth place now after a 69 in with a chance of a second ladies European tour title. Two putting here at the par 512 for a birdie fourth. Kirsten Rudley really got it going on day three. The Australian setting up one of seven birdies in her first 15 holes. Fortunately for Rajley, she did double bogey the last, but at nine under par, she’s in with a sniff, particularly if she keeps playing shots like this one at 14. That was pretty decent. But this probably one of the best shots of the day. It came from Nstazzi Nadau, the French player twice a runner up this season out of the trees and in for a birdie. She’ll start the final round in third place at 10 under par after a round of 69. Big move on day three though came from Perein Deor, her fellow French woman, the women’s South African Open champion with a round of 66. That takes her to 12 under par and into second place. Still out in front, Trichat Chinglab, who had that course record 63 on day two to give herself a sevenshot lead. Not quite as imperious on Saturday, just a third round 72. And that scene that sevenshot lead cut to just three shots. But it’s fair to say all is still to play for with one more round of the season to go.
