I Traveled 7,547 Miles To Golf In Japan | Experience Golf | Season 1 Episode 1
This is nuts. It’s unbelievable here in this country. I feel very overstimulated. Hope I’m not lost. I cannot believe this is wild. Look at this, y’all. Holy sick. Let’s go. Wow. Strap in and let’s experience golf together. I literally have chills. Super early morning here in Los Angeles, California. Our adventures start with a 5:00 a.m. flight to Tokyo. Tokyo time, baby. Let’s get it. You better believe I watched the greatest game ever played. Could not be more excited. We’re in Tokyo, Japan, the Canada airport. We’re also going to be visiting Korea, Singapore, and finishing our experience in Hawaii. This is going to be an epic series that hopefully you all enjoy coming along. We’re going to show the culture. We’re showing some golf, but most importantly, looking forward to just the experience we have across these different cultures. We made it. 7-Eleven first stop. All right. So, we got to find the bus, get to the hotel to Hyatt. Do you have any idea? I have zero clue. All right. So, Haley’s in charge. We’ll go on her lead cuz that’s what we did last time. I don’t even know where to begin. I’m like the I’m in third place with this stuff. Like, it’s Haley Zach than me. Zach and H is a little bit of a tie, but with me it’s just like I just follow along. We got to go to the Shen Yurasu. All right, so we got it. Bus five right here. Yeah, that’s where we got to go. Right there. Yeah. Okay. All right, we got it. We got to go down there. I still don’t know how to buy the ticket, but we’ll figure it out. They said you got to go back. I think we just get on the bus and then pay when we get off. Maybe. I don’t know. Maybe not. All right, so we got our tickets. Bus will be here in a few minutes. That was a little hectic there for a minute trying to figure that out. Our credit cards, you had to put in a pin. I don’t have a pin for my credit card. So Sam came through clutch. For some reason, he did. And so that was big time. Heading to the Hayatt Regency Tokyo Bay. And this bus actually takes us straight to the hotel. That is huge. Are you good? I don’t see too much more comfortable on the plane. Catch a little nap there on the bus. Nice. Oh, y’all was napping. Had to wake Sam up. What a travel day that was. I think that was like 32 hours of travel after we left Sam’s house. That was quite the day. Glad to be here in Tokyo. Awesome room here at the Hyatt and it’s right on the water which is really cool. Me and Sam gonna go get something to eat and just start soaking in being here in Japan. Dude, how epic is this place? Spicy beef curry. That’s the way to start it out. Oh, that looks so good. Dude, that is so good. After a long travel day, that is hitting the spot. Good morning, Tokyo. Getting a little breakfast. I think we’re going to go to Lawson’s. Beautiful morning, Sam. It’s so nice out. Thought it was going to be It’s like 75. Absolutely perfect weather. We’re here first second week in October, somewhere around there. But I don’t even know what the date is here cuz it’s forward in time than it is back home. Yeah, like 9 hours from Nashville or something time. But forward. We’re going to a Shabuya crossing a little bit later. I’m pretty pumped about that. Hopefully it’s, you know, everything that I dream it is, sir. So, this is Lawson’s trying to find the best cup of coffee in the world. This isn’t a coffee shop, but it’s about finding the best cup of coffee in the world. So, it may not always be at a coffee shop. Look at this right here. Mount Reineer Cafe Latte. 181 yen. This is one of the coolest things about Tokyo and Japan in general are the Lawson 7-Elevens. That looks spicy. That looks spicy right there. What do you think, Sam? Whenever it’s in a red packaging, it’s like probably going to be spicy. It probably is. I might have to try some of that. It is like early in the morning here, so I don’t know if I’m down for that just yet. I’ve got a secret mission while here in Japan and Korea trying to find my brother Andrew. Some sports trading card packs. He has a YouTube channel. I want to find enough packs for him to open them for a full video. Look at this. We found Topps Chrome, Topps Stadium Club. So, I’m going to bring these back to Tennessee so my brother Andrew, who y’all seen on golf videos before, so he can make video out of these. We’re gonna try to find several more, but we got a good start for our secret mission. My brother is gonna be home. I’ll link his YouTube channel down below. That way you can check out this video. Now, on to the coffee. That’s why we’re all here. Mount Reneer Cafe Latte. This is going to be number one on the list. How long will it stay there? for what it is. Solid presentation. Cool straw. Cool straw. Definitely get some bonus points for the straw. It’s cold though. I don’t really do cold brew. It’s okay. But my favorite coffee is always hot. Pretty phenomenal price. So, this is going to be ranked number one. Now that we’ve got our coffee, let’s head to Shabuya. So thankfully at the hotel they had a bus to take us to the JR station, but where they dropped us off, we uh weren’t by it and we’ve been trying to figure it out. What would we do without Haley? Sam, I feel like this one hurts. Mhm. What the dog? It’s unbelievable here in this country how many people are willing to help us get around. She’s literally like guiding us the whole way. But we walked away. Yeah. Yeah. She still noticed. All right. So, we got these JR rail passes and you can get them if you’re a foreigner. You can ride as many trains as you want for 7 days. So, we got a 7-day pass, but we still have to get the tickets for each individual train. Maybe right here. Right here. Ah, nice. To Tokyo. And then from Tokyo, we have to take uh Yama motor line. Okay. How did you understand anything she said? You understood? Yeah. Oh, I feel like speaking in Japanese. Oh, no. Just Oh gosh. I don’t know. All right. So, I think we figured it out. Thank you to Haley. Me and Sam, we’re just kind of along for the ride here, but we’re trying to figure out which train to get on. We’re going towards the city center of Tokyo. So, I think we should probably just commit to the most people. Yeah. Going on a train. Yeah. So, there’s two sides. There’s hardly anyone on one side and a bunch of people on the other. So, I think we’re going to at least attempt it. We’ll see. I get a chance. Are we on the right train? Yeah. I don’t know. We have to go here. She says, “Hey everyone, go make sure to follow this guy on IG. Put his handle right here. Let’s get this man to 100K.” Oh man, that’d be sick. Let me get on some Zack Radford status real quick. We saw some fellow Americans trying to figure it out, too. Eyes are this wide. I can’t do it. But you know, that was a joke. All right, so we got off that train and now we got to figure out which other train to get on. This is like a little mini adventure within the big adventure. We cannot use our JR pass for this one. Here’s the thing, Sam. We always figure it out eventually. We always figure it out eventually. Thanks, sir. Change. Okay. Yes. Okay. This is good. Okay. I’m not sure what just happened. So, we get off on 19 or or eight. I mean, this one right here, the line right here. This is the line we’re on. And then it changes JR. We were confused about the change. Yeah. I’m still confused, but I think it’s the same train. The change. Yeah, I think it’s the same train. Yeah. Hey, we made it. We made it a lot more. I have watched Allison Borderland and I think I noticed and recognized some of the buildings. And this is a Shabuya crossing. We made it to Tokyo. Let’s go. For the very first time, me and Leslie are meeting in person. What a crazy place to get to meet for the first time. I know. It’s absolutely wild. I mean, I didn’t think the first time we’d be hanging out is right here in Tokyo. This place is absolutely incredible. Everything that it’s lived up to, and I have accomplished another item on the bucket list. It’s been great to meet Lesie. We’re just going to go get some food, maybe try some more coffee, just enjoy Japan. It was incredible. We followed each other for like 6 years. That’s crazy. I know. We are on the train trying to get to Shabuya Crossing and you’re just walking towards me. Y that was absolutely insane. Now time to get some sushi. Sam picked this place. Where are we going, Sam? This is It better be good. Okay, Haley picked it. This looks absolutely unbelievable. This is what you get when you’re with a bunch of Instagrammers right here. Got to get the uh the right IG story. Okay, now you made this story. Cheers. Cheers. Oh, hi. That is so good. I love digging. You don’t have storage. I can’t do that. There’s phone. There’s bones in that mate. Just watch out. So, where are we eating next? Well, you’re picking. Oh, we’re going to ramen place. We found like over 3,000 reviews. It’s like 3,000. Next to Zara, too. So, even better. Wow. So, we going to do Zara first or food first? I feel like if it was my opinion, I’m just going to say my opinion, but I feel like we should work it off a little bit. Zara. Wow. All right. Right. I know. You don’t be lethargic going to Zara. You got to make right. It’s going to work out to the next. I don’t think I have much of a say here. So, I guess we’re going to Zara. I’ve never actually been to Zara. Haley’s Cafe. Welcome. What we got in here? First time in Zara. You want to look at the women’s clothes? Need to find the top. I’m currently wearing. So, you’ve been here before? I’ve been here before. Before. Got to find something else. All right. So, when in Zara, this is my vibe. Wow. I mean, just I think you should get it. Quick coffee break. We’re going into this place, but we’re going to test some coffee and uh see if this one beats this morning’s coffee. All right. So, we are at Excelsier Cafe for our true first test of the lattes around the world. It’s very good. It is going to overtake the cup we had this morning. However, I feel like we still have a lot to be desired to find that perfect cup of coffee. We’re also trying to find the perfect temperature for our coffee. 126. But Excelsier Cafe moving into spot number one. I feel very overstimulated in this place. And by the way, these things right here are everywhere. All right, I’m doing this for my niece. My niece back home. I’ve got one play. One play. Did I get it? Did I get it? Come on. I don’t think so. I don’t think so. I went too far. I went too far. I’m sorry. We’ll we’ll we’ll get you something. Just not the curious George. All right. So, we made it to the ramen spot. I’m going with the dashy medium sliced pork with. And then we’re going we’re going medium. We’re going to go above the recommended because I do like spicy noodle texture. Uh, we’ll go medium. Okay. Right here. All right. So, we’ve got the little water spet here at each individual spot. Cheers. All righty. So, this is tonatu. Absolutely love it. I’ve been waiting for this meal. This is so good. We did choose the spicier option. So, we got what we wanted. Got golf coming tomorrow. We’re playing at Fuji Country Club. See Mount Fuji in the background. So, stay tuned for that. Me and Sam going to be teeing it high, letting it fly. But first, we’re going to down this. Wait, was pie like What are your thoughts? This is so delicious. It’s creamier than I thought it would be. Influencers in the wild. Actually, this might be where I should take the photo. had such a great time hanging out with Leslie and Elena. Can’t believe me and Leslie have followed each other on Instagram for about 6 years. And this was our very first time ever meeting in person. What an unreal day. Now, back to the train adventures. I’m tired. We have a very early morning riding the train back to the hotel. Well, we got on the wrong train. All right. So, we got on the train and to the Urusu train station. However, we needed to go to the Shin Urasu train station. And now we’re walking a long ways cuz we’re on the totally wrong line and we are 3 miles from the hotel. What an unreal day. But I’m ready to be back at the hotel. Ready to knock out. We are tired. Lower back is tight. Hit 220 yard drives tomorrow. I feel like this is a little sketchy where we’re walking. Oh yeah. I feel like someone’s going to pop out of those bushes and just be like, “Hey, that I thought literally thought that was a person.” Definitely looked like a person. I cannot believe we were just randomly walking. Yeah. Through the streets here. Have you seen a Japanese scary movie? Yeah. Creepiest. Yeah. It’s just scary. Like the ones with that long black hair. I feel like we’re at the start of one of those movies. Like look at these American guys. Like if I was alone, I’d be pacing a lot faster. But I got Zach here. It’s all good. It’s all good. This was not the end of the night that I anticipated. I mean, maybe this isn’t a sketch area that we walked through, but sketchy. I mean, it doesn’t really look like it’s that far. Uh, Tokyo Bay Hotel. It’s further than you think. Yeah, it’s like just Oh, I see on a map. Let me think. It’s close. This feels so good to sit down. We made it back to civilization. Not too far from the hotel. We had to stop and get something to eat. I’m so hungry. Shady walks for three miles is not is not it. This is like the coolest little thing. It’s a stone that’s cooking meat. Throw a little butter on there. This was needed after that walk. So good. We’re going to finish this meal. Head back to the hotel. We see it. We see the light right there. We made it. Wasn’t sure if we were. Should have taken a taxi. Good morning, y’all. We We’re up. That was after last night’s debacle. I got like 4 hours of sleep, but we’re here to play some golf. And we have a legend who just picked us up. And I have to show you this trunk here. We got it all fit in. Sean here with Preserve Golf Japan. He is a legend for picking this up. Excited in Japanese people and everybody is very excited to see your stinger. I cannot wait. Before we shut the trunk, look at this y’all. That is packed about as tight as it gets right there. So Sean just told me that the first tea time here in Japan in the summer at most golf courses is 4:30 a.m. That is crazy. A lot of golf courses are not located inside of Tokyo. Okay. So you probably have to drive at least 1 hour. Okay. Right. So like 4:30. And then Japanese courses require you to be showing up like 30 minutes before tea time. It’s like, “All right, you have to get there 4 4:00 a.m. You have to leave your house 3:00 a.m. So, you have to wake up 3:30.” Yeah. We playing for something. Yeah. How many shots am I getting? Zero. You’re the one who won one Asian tour school. No, I should be getting shots. Long time ago. Whoever wins gets to pick one item that the other person has to eat. Oh man, I can’t do anything. I can’t do squid or any of that stuff. There’s so many so many interesting interesting thing in convenience store, 7-Eleven, family bar. We can pick something on the way. Oh, Sam’s going to be so mean to me if I lose. So, Sean, why do you call it Preserve Golf Japan? I think around 80% of Japanese golfer are older than 50 years old or maybe 60 years old. That means within like 10 years, the big market of Japanese golf is going to be gone. Every year, couple golfers courses are closing. And so I wanted to bring international golfers, tourists to golf courses in Japan. I can help preserve the Japanese golf courses. Yeah. So I think that’s so so that’s the reason why I named my preserve. I love it. Mount Fuji right there. We’re getting ready to play some golf, but we wanted to stop at the mini stop, get a little breakfast, get some beverages, but had to stop and look at that view right there. How incredible. Perfect morning. Couldn’t ask for a more clear day to see Mount Fuji. Last time I was here in Japan, we couldn’t see it cuz it was too cloudy. However, this morning, absolutely beautiful. We’re going to grab something to eat and then we’ll see you at the course. What are you getting, Sam? Waters, picari, get some food. I love these little triangle. It’s called oniis. And then uh tunas and maybe some pork cutlet little sandwiches. Pickled squid. Are you going pickled squid or dried squid? I feel like dried squid’s going to be a little easier. Yeah, let’s go dried squid. Oh, so you’re already counting the loss. This one looks This one is like more soft, so it’s kind of flavorful. Flavorful. I I’ll go with this. Whoever loses got to eat this after the round and then probably immediately something else. All right, I got to get me my Picari sweat right here. Yes, sir. I’m going to go with this little waffle as well. Thank you. Got our coffee as well. Coffee. Fresh brewed coffee. Quality mini stop run for cutlet sandwich. Oh, nice. like the light yarn in here. Okay. Please use the stair. Okay. Thank you. Thank you. Enjoy. This is sick. You get your own locker when you check in here. My lucky number is 126. So, going to throw some gear in here and then uh get out there and get ready to play some golf. Let’s go. So, there’s absolutely nobody driving this cart at all. Just Sean jumping out. Look at that background right there. Yeah. So, I thought this was awesome. I think we should implement this Sam in the States. So, it says if you hit it OB, you resume play for your fourth shot down by the yellow marker, which is down somewhat close to the green. It looks like I like that rule very much. It’s a great rule. That was awesome. That took like 10 seconds to land. Well, welcome to Fuji Country Club. This place is absolutely spectacular. Mount Fuji in the background. Before we get into it, I wanted to eat this Belgian waffle. I feel like it’s gonna be lifechanging fire, you know. It’s gonna be fire. Oh my goodness. Like the soon as I bit into it, game changer. I thought it was going to be dry. It’s moist. They have that in Korea as well. This will not be the last time I eat this. So, me versus Sam. Five holes out here at Fuji Country Club. Come along for the ride. We’re here in Japan. Let’s experience golf together. Here we are, sir. Start of the match. Five holes. Look at this hole. This is absolutely crazy. It’s crazy. That is Mount Fuji right there. Crazy. It’s number three, par three, downhill, 154. What are you going with? I’m going to go a little nine. Easy nine. Don’t want to go long. I don’t want that dry squid. So, That looks good. Go. Okay, stop. All right, not too bad. All right, I’m going to go with pitching wedge here. Let’s see if we can’t knock one close shot. Oh, that’s a number right there. Sam, try squid. Here I come. I ain’t eating it. The last time I was here in Japan, the vegetation here is absolutely incredible. I remember seeing tons of different trees that you don’t see hardly anywhere else. No dried squid. Sit. Oh no. What are you doing? Sit. You just want to eat dried squid, dude. Oh, dried squid. Dried squid. I’ll give that to you. That one’s good. No dried squid here either. This would be huge. Massive two-up lead after one. We won’t talk about that. Sam beat me on the first two holes. We weren’t filming yet. So, you’re such a nice guy for mentioning that. Good line. I can’t taste it yet. He can’t taste it yet. He’s only one down. Yes. Good power. How convenient is that remote control cart? We can walk go cut through the place and the cart will meet us there. That is awesome. It’s pretty awesome. This bridge is sick. It is a ways down right there. Don’t fall off. Wouldn’t recommend that, dude. The views out here are unreal. Like, I don’t even want to golf. Look at that. Just want to get a cup of coffee and walk around. Number four, 480 yds, par five. Tee it high, let it fly. That’s right. And don’t let that sign right there talking about the OB get to you. Don’t even read it. We do get to drop it up there. I love that rule. I want to say really, really good, but I haven’t played here before. Yeah. I don’t know. Feel like that’s really good. Should be okay. Should be okay. Got a oneup lead. I don’t want to eat dried squid either. So, birdie here would go a long ways. We’re either both perfect or we’re both in trouble. But I think we’re both perfect. Those both came down same line. So pretty looking. All right. I I genuinely don’t know who outdrove who. I’m going to say Sam out drove me. So, I’m going to go first. I’ve got 160 and I’m going to go nine iron here. Might come up a little short, but don’t really want to be long chipping down that hill. Oh, Sam, I might be in the bunker. Oh, nope. It’s over. I think we’re putting. It’s a little right, but we got an eagle. Look. Oh, that looks good. He wants to get that stroke back. It’s got to go. Nah, I think you’re better than you than you think. I hope so. I think that was pretty good. I don’t want no dried squid. So, me and Sam ended up a little short. Sam’s going to go first. We could have hit a lot more club there. Go. Yeah, good chip. Definitely broke left, Zach. Yep. I kind of like it, Sam. Oh no, that landed softer than I thought. The old pin slammer here in Japan. Sam is shaking his head on camera. You love to see it. That’s good. Dry squid. Try it. Squit. Nice. There’s a stinger for you, Sean. We’ve got a halfway house or a third way house. H whole six. So, little snack shack right here. Let’s see what we got. Picari sweat. And then what is this? Oh, it’s a rice. It’s like a rice cake. Rice cake. Yeah. And then rice cake. Oh, I think we’re trying this one. It’s like a rice cake with cream in the middle. Little rice cake. Cream in the middle. Picari sweat right here. This is the go-to. This is basically like Gatorade. Little electrolyte drink. These are way better than Gatorade. I don’t drink Gatorade at home hardly ever, but I will drink four of these a day. All right, Sam. Par four. You’re two down. I’m two down. 425 hole six par4. So good. That was money. Go. That’s what you came all the way to Japan to do. Yes. 10 drives like that. Please. No more squid games. Oh no. Stay out of the trees. Okay, I think it’s going to be hitable, but I don’t know how hitable. Got this pork cutlet sandwich. There’s some katu sauce inside. The bread is kind of like a regular white bread. That’s so good. Eat this with the oni giri. Great combo. We found some tree trouble and basically I can’t go at the green. There is no shot. So, I’m just going to chip out here to basically where Sam is. Good out. Oh, I need to hit that a lot harder. All righty. Chipped out. I’ve got 130 left. This is right where Sam gets at least one back, I’m sure. Go. Get back there. All right, we’ll take it. We got a puff for par. I need to get one on the board. We got 126. Got a little choke pitching wedge. Go, go. Oh, nice shot. Thank you. He’s at least getting one back on me here. I hope so. Great shot. Thank you. And y’all know what I’m about to say. Always fix your ball marks. Take care of the course. It’ll take care of you whether you’re in Nashville, Tennessee or uh Japan. Oh, Sam, that’s uphill. Cool. That’s uphill. All right. Potentially, Sam, this could be to square the batch. Please. Potentially. I’ve got a feeling I’m going to make mine, but potentially I could miss it. That was huge. That was huge. Either way, great putt. Thank you. All right. So, I went from a nice little comfy lead to I better make this to remain all square. Oh, I hit it right through the break. I hit it right through the break. And that is a little double bogey. Sandmade bird. I’m one down, two to play. All right, we got a barn burner. Most guys from the States, when they complain in Japan, they have trouble with fairway lies and chipping. The grass is like teeing up the ball. So, if you’re steep, you’re going right under that thing. And Zach, you’re more on the steep side, right? So, just going to say that. Oh, he’s trying to get my head now. I was looking the T sign for you guys. trying to put your name here. But as you can see, the online reservation system usually just made for Japanese people, right? Or locals. So I could only put four letters in each first name and last name section. And so I was trying to put your full name, but I was only to put I was only able to put right right after right after. Yeah. And then so Haley, I couldn’t put your full name just H. So, I put your name in Japanese cuz you have to put the Japanese letters, too. So, I put in it’s called Zako. That’s how you That’s how you pronounce your uh name in Japanese pronunciation. Well, that happened in a hurry. I’m one down. I’m probably going to be eating some dried squid. We’ve got two holes left. We’re going to be playing those on the back. But before we go to the back nine here in Japan, you stop at the turn, take a break, and eat a meal. So that’s what we’re gonna do. Also, huge shout out to Sean with Preserve Golf Japan. Thank you so much for having us. This has been epic. Looking forward to even coming back again in a future year cuz we’ve had such a great time. So I’ll link the Instagram to Preserve Golf Japan down below as well as Sean Hosaka. So thank you so much. Let’s go eat some food. Glad you guys enjoyed the front night and let’s get some food and get in the food coma. All right, perfect. The mega katu curry. Hopefully Sam will go in the food coma. 100%. So, this is our returning time to the course after lunch. Yeah. So, we got 55 minutes of lunch break. Okay. Got to make sure there’s no no grass on the shoes. I’m even going to do that. Clean that out. I’m a lunch was absolutely incredible. We’re on to the back nine. We have two holes remaining and I am down one. So, I need to mount a little comeback with these two holes remaining. Par five here. What an incredible view behind. This is absolutely spectacular. Going with driver par five 532. Let’s see it high. Let it fly. No, I thought that was absolutely perfect. Hammered it. I thought that was absolutely perfect. I think it’s going to be okay, but it did clip that tree. You hammered it. Yeah, you can’t carry those trees. It’s heading out to the right. Should be totally fine. Looks like there’s a ton of room over there. Yeah, should be all right. Should kick left. Yeah, should be all right there. Can’t really go with the green here. Got seven iron. Try to lay it up kind of to where Sam was. I just wanted to make sure that that was drawn. That should be good. Not sure. Might have gone through the fairway. I got 70 yards. Playing about 66. This rough is not going to allow the ball to stop. So, I got to play it about 5 yards shorter. Sit. I mashed it. All right. About the same distance as Sam here. Hopefully, I can take a lesson and uh land it a little shorter. Land it soft. Landed a little softer than I thought, but we got a putt. Sit. Pretty good. Pretty good speed. That was pretty good. All right. This would be huge for the match. These greens are so good, Sam. They’re so pure. So pure. You just got to get it started on the right line and they will drop. Go right. That’s a good par. Pick it up. Thank you. All right. In for the five. Never a doubt. Never a doubt. Try to creep out. The pins are also so light. They literally feel like a toy pin. It’s crazy. So, no one’s driving. No one is driving. We’re both in the back seat here. What an experience this is in Japan. I got to say, thank you so much to Sean for giving us this experience. Hole 15, our last hole of the match. 343 yards, part four. I want that squid going in that man’s mouth. That sounded real weird. That sounded awesome, didn’t it? Get left. Don’t go in that bunker. All right. Is it in that bunker? It’s in the bunker. It landed to the right of it and kicked down in it. That was such a bad swing. Oh my goodness. Sam’s like, I want to keep this match alive. Oh my goodness. That was such a bad swing. All right. Thankfully, I got a little bit of that Picari sweat left to uh wash down the squid. But Sam did, you know, creek that door open. I’m going to go with three iron here. Stay right there. Stay right there. Stay in the fairway. All right. It might have stayed in the fairway. Does kind of kick to the left. Maybe rough. What club you got, sir? Got a little choke pub. Got 122. Hopefully I can close out this man. Hopefully. I really want to see him eat that squid. Can’t emphasize that more. You’re probably going to like it. Tuck is smack. Oh no. That’s got to get down. Oh no. Hit the tree. Oh no. It’s going to be close. Dramatic music plays now. Oh no. Did I just want the squid so bad? Oh, that’s got to go. Go. All right. Okay. Shot. Little chunk and run. Sami go. No. No. What a chip. What a chip. So, we decided if we tie, we’re both eating it. If I make this, just Sam. Sam alone. Did you think there was ever a doubt? Did you think there was ever a doubt? That was a pin slammer here to end it, Sam. This is good. This is good. There you go. That was a good throw. Boom. Pin slammer here on the last. Hey, Zach, can I tell you something? Appreciate you always having me on your channel. It’s the last time I’m going to show up on your channel. Never again. I’m just kidding. Wow. But uh seasoned dried squid. I don’t like seafood at all. I like nigiri. I don’t like dried squid. Let’s Oh my goodness. Let’s take a look inside that bag. That looks delicious. My wife’s not going to give me a kiss after I eat this. Is that good enough for you? That’s good enough. You guys look at that. Do you think you want to eat this? I don’t think so. It’s what I get though. Talking smack fishy. I need some milk. Mm- It’s really dry. I mean, obviously dried squid. Hey, good match, sir. Good match. Good match. Thank you for always having me on your channel. Absolutely. Always appreciate you, Zach. All right, so I’m not going to leave Sam hanging. Came all the way here to Japan. We’re not going to lay up. The smell is potent. The smell is potent. He needs some tough. He needs some. That is tough. So, at the very end of this series, we’re going to be arriving at Kalao in Hawaii where everything started. So, I wanted to get a momentto from each location of this trip for my appreciation. The gentleman there that we’ll be meeting when we arrive has maintained the course and he does still continue to teach out of Kolo. So, I’m looking forward so much full circle moment to where basically YouTube really ignited for me. So, right here at Fuji Country Club, I got him a little ball marker, a little Tennessee orange. I think he’s going to love it. What a legend that helped us out by the ticket. However, woo, we had a time finding the right train. We found the train. We’re about to board it. That was an adrenaline rush cuz we weren’t sure if we were going to make it. Wow, what an end to today. Day’s not over yet. We’re heading to Sai and wow, that was that was something. But there was a legend. If you’re watching this video, you know who you are. Thank you so much for helping us out. Otherwise, we would have never even met you. Stressing, but you know what? We’re here. Haley got us here. I’m like, I got anxiety going through my blood right now. I thought we were done with this, Zach. We’re never going to be done with this. trip. Having so much fun so far. We’ve arrived in Sai and I am ready for the bed. It was a long but incredible day. Hope y’all enjoy coming along. As for me, Japan. We’ll see you when we see you. Peace.

Episode 2 will be out next Tuesday!
Greetings from Ireland. I can't wait for this series, I've watched you since you only had about 10k subscribers. Best of luck with the trip.
Have you ever played in South Africa. If not you must really come to South Africa!!!!!
Glad to see you back with some full video content! Its been a bit it feels like.
This is adventure! So excited for this series. Always love Zac Radford content! Great food and coffee experiences also!
That ramen is tonKOtsu (pork broth) not tonKAtsu like you said
Also why didn’t you use Apple maps or Google Maps. It tells yoy EXACTLY what station, what train, what line, what platform to catch and where to get off and what exit to take. Easy peasy. Also there’s no sketchy in Japan
I can’t believe this dude wasn’t a part of the @InternetInvitational #InternetInvitational better get it together next time!
Man you should have purchased a Suica card which allows you to just tap the card and then you get to any train you need except the Shinkansen. It's so much easier than buying those little paper tickets
Zac's so cultured
I am happy you were here in Japan!
Come again
Dried squid is one of the best delicacies!
I thought Fuji Country was a bit Mickey Mouse; too many elevation changes. But nice condition and great views. Can't believe you didn't order their Mt. Fuji curry. I live in Chiba: 200 courses, probably 100 within 1 hour of my home… you should definitely visit Chiba
Stunning golf course.
Brilliant content and great editing. The travel vlog style works perfectly with golf, especially when it’s all raw and authentic. Keep it going!
You're living the absolute dream, Zac! Love your videos and approach to the most beautiful game in the world.
Use Google map for direction and itinerary, I can see you have smartphones…
Find Mr Golf in Japan! Ben Galloway! He IS THE man
Please tell us the green fees
Glad you enjoyed the golf in Japan! Now you know the japanese way and of golf, I’ll invite you to come to play at my golf club in Gifu Japan. Hosenbo Golf club is the name of the club. Let me know if you plan to come to Japan again. 😇
golf starts at 24:50 .. you’re welcome
Where you just in Hawaii? I swear I saw you at a coffee shop on kapahulu
I live in Kyoto, two superb golf courses within the city, just 10 minutes from my house, and about thirty courses within an hour’s drive, golf in Japan is excellent – the sento or hot springs bath that every golf club has for soaking in at the end of a bad round is amazing too 🙂
Dried squid is the best lol
