1: WIDE TAKEAWAY – keep the club low to the ground on the way back. A wide arc helps generate speed.

2: SOFT TRANSITION – I like to feel as if the club almost pauses fully at the top of the swing. The driver is the longest club in the bag, and we need to give that change of direction some time.

3: RELEASE – let that thing go at the bottom! Don’t hold back or try to guide the club into impact. We want the club moving as fast as possible at the ball!
