Builth Wells Golf Club has been run for the last few years by local girl Lauren Jones, but is now leaving, with the club looking for someone to come in and share in its “increasing prosperity”.
A post on the Builth Wells Golf Club Facebook page, asking for applicants to get in touch, appeared on Tuesday, November 25.
“The golf club is offering the clubhouse operation at Builth Wells Golf Club on a lease/franchise basis from February 1, 2026, to person/persons essentially with experience in the catering and licensed trades,” said the post.
“This is an opportunity for the correctly motivated applicant to help in the development of the golf club and to share in its increasing prosperity.
“The golf club has approximately 300 members and has 3,000 plus visitor rounds per annum, along with numerous open competitions and national events, and is open all year round.
“Accommodation in a three-bedroom flat is included with the lease/franchise.”
Expressions of interest in the position are to be forwarded in the first instance to the secretary, Simon Edwards, via email, at info@builthwellsgolf.co.uk.
