Putting for birdie back up and over a little left to right at the end if it obliges which it does. One from one from Minwley and he’s won a drift now. As good this man. What a roll from Marco Pens. He was redot at the start yesterday and he has an early birdie under the belt to go to eight under. Back there at a moment. Here’s Hillia. Awkward shot which he has struck beautifully. Well worth a smile. Grin from ear to ear from the keyway. And yes, why not raise the bat? Salute Daniel Hilly for that. Hopefully no one tell has given him the indication it’s gone in. He couldn’t see the bottom of the flag now. Gua. Oh, he almost goes one better. How looks to be struck fairly well. And that’s a fairly good assessment. Clean. Nice. Pause it in the fifth. Here is the 21-year-old Wii Ding. Found the fairway after a par at one. This at two and that one is a keeper. Dan Hillier from just over 20 ft. Oh, look out. He’s been at the top of the leaderboard this past season on the DP World Tour and wants to continue this scene season in the same fashion. Another wedge in hand. Wouldn’t surprise me if this is with inside 10 ft or make that two feet. My goodness, what a start. Well, that will be six birdies in a row. Taking an aggressive line. Flighted that down beautifully. The man from Portugal. Quail rolling that in beautifully for a birdie on number two. Gets him up to double figures under par. Now over to 17. Left-handed New Zealander Ryan Peak. A great pin today. Back to five. Sebastian Garcia, who was our leader on day one. There’s only about 8,000 things to think about as well. The first shoulder that he’s putting off down into the valley where the flag is today. Oh, and he got it all sorted out. This one more up the green. Pinpoint. Saw him produce a bit of magic on this hole yesterday. And can he do it again? Oh, he holds a wonderful bunker shot for an eagle and almost goes back to back. He is going to enjoy that one. Over to the party hole and in. It sounds as though the party has started. I was about to say that’s they’ll throw a party for that one. That green is so quick down that slope. Not sure they’ll be suspending the partying at this early stage. Elvis smiley on the party hole enjoying a good day. This is for Birdie which he nails. looks a bit more relaxed than yesterday. It was a tough day that he really fought on and he’s thriving. The defending champion. Yes. No. Great to see Matt Griffin. just made the cut late yesterday. I was able to hang on. So this is at 12. Nick Vogue from the front edge at the short path for an eagle too and a big boost up to nine under now. That’s the way to do it. Well, that saves putting. He’s been a little frustrated with his putting already today. He just needs one to drop and he just carries on with a whole heap of confidence. This could be the one. Moves right to left a little bit. Oh, did its own tour. But in it goes and that’s all that matters. Minwis again into double figures. 71 meters here for Ranken. Pin perch just over the ridge. Want to try and skip it up the bank, which it’s doing. Vamp at the eighth. Another from long range here. Get this wrong in so many ways. How about getting it right though? Oh, rock solid from Vanton. Back to level par on the date. It’s turning things around. get back to eight on this uh back edge is when you ding. It’s in a couple hold from the surrounds at this uh pin position today section of the par three. Can we add another very straight legged in his uh setup? It’s a really strong lower half. Cam Davis perfect T-shot. Be just slightly left to this pin if he can. Not much room there though. Oh, that is wonderful. Those blue eyes staring it down. Mark Leashman with a huge bonus there. From off the green, he rides up the leaderboard to 11 under. Back to 10. duvet loves it. Oh, as he should. And this one’s gone a mile in the air on a good line. A very good line. Oh. That was a nine from 138 from Anthony Quail all over it. It most certainly is 30 driven it around the corner there on 13. That is a massive T-OT. Oh, that’s how you make a difficult pole look easy. In it goes. We’re running out of room on the front page. So, Gua, this is actually for par. Oh, what a save. I think the holes have gotten a little bit bigger since they’ve come back out to play. Let’s head to Anthony Quail on the BMW hole. And I can tell you Steve Williams just pulled him off the shot because of a bit of breeze that picked up. This one fading but just left of it. That’s an excellent shot to that flag. Straight in the middle and straight to the top. Minu Lee the outright leader Ga to join Minwi the 34 year old from Portugal a winner of seven tournaments on the challenge tour joins Minu Lee at the top of the leaderboard. This would undoubtedly be the biggest win of his career if he could go on and claim the Australian PGA. Can testing part for Adam Scott. Wow. Look out. It’s a great answer after the bogey on 14. He’s our outright leader. This is an ultra impressive round. Let’s go to 15. Mark Leman’s found the fairway here at the par five. He’s in the go zone. left of this screen isn’t much fun to the flag today. You want to be short of it ideally if you are going to miss or you could do this. What a second shot from Mark Leechman. He’s won a car. Why on a million dollars? Lightning almost striking twice. Ga back in front. Nice. Only 60 m here. He’s good at this shot. He’s got the whole green to work with. Oh, fantastic. Good touch there from the Western Australian. Now Anthony Quail. Straight in. Back into a share of the lead. Oh, so well played. That’s 9.9 out of 10. Second on the way here at 18. 178 Alli imposing on it for good reason. He chases it up close and a look at birdie to finish the day for Kazuma Kabori. Oh, he went for the chunk and run. How good a shot is that? That is as good as it gets from Anthony Quail. You could eat dinner off that club face. He’s a co-leader heading into the final round tomorrow. He’s 13 under along with David Puge of Spain and Ricardo Ga of Portugal. But have a look who’s narrowly behind. Min wooi, our champ from two years ago here at Royal Queensland after another outstanding round. Four under par. Kazuma Kabori then Adam Scott looking to make it a third Australian PGA title. Can Mark Leeman break through for one of the big ones here in Australia. He’s playing in fine fashion in typically composed fashion and Daniel Hilly has shown glimpses as well and we know Wy Ding is an amazing teller. But Anthony Quail is with you. Yeah, thank you very much Matt Quley. Five birdies and one bogey out there today in the final group and a good way to finish as well. Two birdies in the last four holes. You got to be pretty pleased. Yeah. No, it was good. It was a little bit more of a grind today. I think um the first six holes, it felt like business as usual this week. And then after the rain delay, just wasn’t quite hitting at my best, was leaking a lot of T-shots, right? And um just felt like I was scrambling forever really. Um and then it sort of felt like that after what felt like a million pars, I I made a bogey on uh 14 and it kind of just kicked me into gear a little bit. I felt like I played really nicely the last four holes. As pros, you get used to rain delays, but how challenging has it been the last couple of days? They’ve been long days and certainly very hot as well. Yeah, it has. It is very hot. Yeah. So, I think um it’s tricky. The tricky part is how warm it is out here and then you go back, you lay down in an air conditioning uh you know, locker room because you don’t really want to sit outside and then you got to warm up on short notice and get back out there and you just don’t feel like or I didn’t feel like I quite um brought the same sort of stuff out there. But I mean hung in there well well really proud of um the score I put together in the end. I think you’re always in contention. 13 top 10 since your third place here last year. But how beneficial will today be being in the final group heading out tomorrow once again in the final group? Yeah, it’s something I think Stevie and I were both focusing on is trying to get into that final group. The um you know after the bogey on 14, he was saying to me we can birdie three the last four and I fell up just short of that. But um really that’s where I want to be. I want to be in that position. I want to be feeling the nerves. I want to be trying to hit big shots under um a bit of pressure. So I’m really excited for tomorrow. It’s been a long week and yeah, just excited to to get into it. Well, you’ve handed it great so far and we look forward to watching you tomorrow. Thanks, mate. Cheers, mate. Thank you. To watch another DP World Tour video, click here.
