President: Michael O’Donoghue
A prominent businessman has taken up the high-profile role of President of Killarney Golf and Fishing Club.
Michael O’Donoghue was elected to the prestigious position for the coming year at the recent club annual general meeting.
A well-known local hotelier, he is a director of the O’Donoghue Ring Collection which owns the Killarney Plaza, Killarney Towers and Killarney Avenue hotels as well as the River Island in Castleisland and several other businesses in Ireland and overseas.
The incoming captain at the club is Tomás Kelliher who was an outstanding golfer in his youth while the incoming lady captain is Annette McNeice.
The junior captains for the year ahead are Luke McCann and Aoife O’Sullivan.
