Hit a nice high draw 289 then had this shot. 6 iron was my club, splashed it, proceeded to make double bogey for an 82.

Damn…you were almost in the 70s very solid round. That is a nice smooth 3/4 swing 7 wood for me, especially with the water forced carry. I can get 220 out of that club but 3/4 swing should be perfect for that number

Nice easy 5 iron gets to the back of the green.

6 is the right distance but a slight mishit and it’s swimming.

I’m a short hitter. 3-wood aimed towards that bank to the left of the green, hoping it kicks/rolls down to the right towards the green.

If you’re driving 290 and contemplating a 6 iron for 188 then you’re in a different bracket to me. I wouldnt go anywhere near that water.

I’d hit it down the fairway with a hybrid and maybe cut it a bit towards the apron. Rely on good chipping and try for birdie that way.

I’d aim far left with a 6i, ball drops perfectly in the center of the pond, a beautiful splash. Try again, lose that ball too and say “well that’s golf for ya!”

  6. If the round is shot, I’m going for the flag. Decent round going, 7 iron out to the left to hopefully get up and down for birdie.

Top a 7 wood into the lake, drop, skull 4 over the green, duff a chip then 3 putt for my snowman. Nice drive though!

Any club. My ball will end up in the water anyway. I may as well just toss it in from there by hand to save time.

Number 18 at Oak Creek? There is trouble short, right and long of the green. Hit your 190 club left of the pin. Worst case you’re in that back bunker with a lot of green in front of you. Good luck!

I’m hitting 5i or 6i depending on the wind. Send it!

aim way left and short so its comfortable and water isn’t in play at all.

See this is where most people get in trouble and cost themselves strokes. Yeah going for the green is fun but take the smart play. Hit an 8 iron 140/150 to the left keeping yourself in the fairway and give yourself the easy chip. If your short game is good you still got the birdie opportunity but pretty much a guaranteed par.

7i safely left and safe. Nice little wedge in and 3putt for bogey.

Whatever the cover number is, plus 15, aimed at left edge of green. If it fades it fades.

  14. KushMaster72

5 iron left of the green to set up a chip or pitch on

  15. CDecker127

Hit 4 in the water, 1 way left, pitch over the green, pitch one 10 feet way and then 3 putt.

Smooth swing with my 200y club at the left side. My long irons fade.

Grab the 4 hybrid, Choke up a bit and hope for the best.

I do what I always do. Hit it in the water

  19. LegitimateFig5311

Personally im aiming left of the water, then shanking it right, straight into the water

First thing I would do is get out an old ball
