How to Regrip a Golf Club – The Easy Way!
regripping a golf club can be easy with the right tools and some quality know-how a hook blade is best for slicing the old grip but you can use a normal blade or box cutter as long as you’re careful not to damage the shaft once the old grip is off you need to remove the tape it’s always best to try peeling the old tape as it often will leave no residue otherwise using a scraper or a heat gun are both effective methods toss on a bit of mineral spirits with a towel to help clean and scrape off any leftover residue and you’re ready for the new grip tape you want to make sure a little bit hangs off the back and you press it around the shaft so it is completely smooth make sure that it doesn’t extend beyond the length of the grip then twist and tuck in the tiny tail at the end covering the hole at the end of the new grip pour in some mineral spirits and coat the inside then pour out the rest of the solvent all over the new tape now comes the critical step of putting on the new grip and making sure it’s aligned properly I recommend removing the club from the Vise to best align the grip once you have everything squared up towel off the ends of the grip and let it dry for a few hours tap subscribe and have fun out there everyone foreign

Need to remove the tape backing before putting on the grip. Don’t ask me how I know.
Thanks again for showing things the way a regular guy would do things.
