Do This to Fix an OPEN Club Face at Impact 🏌️♂️
the first drill we’re going to use to address the open Club face is we’re going to give you the exact opposite take your normal grip and I want you to rotate it about 45 degrees with your normal grip on the club so none of this like here then just try to rotate the hands you’re going to let the club rotate inside your normal grip what you’re going to do from here is not let this ball go left if you’re a right-hander so no hooks from this closed face you guys have been back here hitting this is like life changing type yes drill here so 45 shot set up to the ball with the face closed right yep it’s going to look close to you and then what you’re going to do kind of preset impact a little bit yep take the club back and try to drive the ball out to right field
Join us today as the guys show you the perfect drill to correct the problem of an open club face in your golf swing! Once you correct this in your swing you will hit the ball farther and straighter!

Guys that’s stupid… That’s not even a matchup for forspin or launch. You can’t prove a negative .
can you! Ben Hogan would be furious with you …” Trajectory is everything…
I actually did this with a 3-iron off the tee. And I hit stingers strt down the middle.
I basically held it off, and it eliminated all of the swing thoughts of closing the clubface at impact.
How does holding the clubface open square it up. Shouldn’t you do the exact opposite of this?
Youtubes wild. I actually started doing this on a whim to improve my ball striking a few months ago before seeing this video and it worked incredibly. I even played rounds for a while with a slightly shut face and my only swing thought was to try and hit a fade. Really teaches your body to undue all the patterns you’ve learned from playing for years with an open face. Instead of hanging back coming way in to out, stalling and flipping, I just naturally started shifting pressure, rotating, getting hands leading, and zeroing out my path. One of the added benefits of this too is it just programs your brain to understand how to deliver a club that feels more closed in the backswing. Meaning, eventually, even if I didn’t preset the face closed or use a super strong grip my brain automatically would bow the wrist to close the face. Before, the opposite was true, no matter how hard I tried to bow my wrist to get the face square my brain would fight me because it just has no idea how to deliver the club unless the face was open. Anyways, just a long way of saying that I would highly recommend this drill. And I would start of just feeling like you’re trying to hit punch shots. Since working on this I’ve lowered my HC from 10 to 7 in less than 3 months.
Drove it to right field 😂😂
what is the second drill following this drill
Would this not promote the ball going more right? I feel like this would maybe be a good anti-hook drill. Just trying to understand.
That’s what I used and it works like a charm, the ball goes straight to where I aim.
I hit 8 slice out of 10 tee off by driver. Modified my set up as per this, now 8 are on fairway, 2 are pulled. Almost got rid of my driver slice.
So, I don't get how to actually get the ball to go right. It just goes straight left when I do this.
thats how i swung when i first started lol
Do you have a link to the full video? I’ve clicked on 20 videos on your page and can’t seem to find it. If possible, it would be nice to pin a comment on these shorts with a link to the extended version of the videos. Thanks!
Wouldn’t this reinforce wanting to open the club face at impact? What about doing this the opposite. Take grip, open face and try and hook it
U can't release the club with a closed club face. Nobody does this
…and then I hit the hosel.
Is there a full video
I do this with students when we are working on clubface control.
As a baseball player getting into golf the “drive the ball to right field” makes so much sense
Did this drill. Now I’m a ball slicing machine
