Jamie, firstly, congratulations. Your first Legends Tour victory. How does it feel to be back in the winner’s circle again? Yeah, fantastic. Um, I’ve had a great week this week. It’s been uh really good fun and it was nice to play so well today to and birdie the last to uh pip them just by just by a couple there. And as you just said, you came from the penultimate group, shot a 67 minus 6. Yeah. Talk to me through the the the the key moment in your round today because I know you got off to a great start and you had a great run in in and around the turn there and you had a bit of a tricky finish there kind of 17 as you said birdie 18. What was the moving moment in that round today? Um I mean it was important to get off to a fast start. Um I birdied the second which was a strong par three. Uh hit a really good shot in there and managed to make about a 10-footer. So that was big to get going. uh managed to birdie four um which had been you know I’d managed to pull it yesterday out of bounds made a good bogey. So today it was you know it was good to get over the demons of that hole and managed to hit a really good T-shot uh make four there. So off to a good strong start and then afterwards you know it kind of snowballed in my direction. Made more birdies um in and around the turn. Um nine was a a good birdie. I’d hit a really good T- shot, but it had gone too far through the dog leg and it was under a tree, so I had to hit a low punch cut for iron onto the green, which was that was one of the shots of the day. Um, when did you think you could win? At what point was I always thought there was going to be, you know, I was probably sort of the back nine. Um, it was a hold a massive put on 15 to to kind of for par after it in a good shot. That was one of the stronger, tighter holes at the end there. Um disappointing to bogey 17. I had a decent shot. Needed it just to draw a fraction more. It would have been close to the flag, but uh in the end it’s caught the bunker and I’ve got a difficult bunker shot and didn’t ding up and down. So, and then coming down 18, you know, you stood in the tea. The wind moved um like all you know big turns started northwest went to uh westerly and ended up southwest. So it moved a lot on the uh clock all day and on 18 it meant that it was into. So you got obviously trouble right and trouble left and it probably the best shot of the day um which left me uh only sort of 200 yards left and hit a good five eye middle of the green. I didn’t read the book very well from here and left myself 4 feet, but luckily the speed was good and then I hold that to yeah in the end just pip the lads um who gave me um you know I didn’t hit good T- shots down the last so it was it was a great to birdie the last and get a victory.
