drove over in Chicago and you know Pete he was hanging around with all the ali celebrities these days so we went into the box anyway and he was like uh Shane Lowry was there and I’m a huge fan of Shane obviously any Irish fellow doing so well I’m a big fan of but uh went over to Shane he was like oh this is uh Dave Kcoin we sat down beside each other’s like oh I know who this is and I was like oh he’s like yeah we met about 12 years ago uh he’s like I’m 38 now you’re you must be close enough I was like yeah 36 And he was like, “Uh, we met about uh yeah, 12 years ago inside in um what was it in Crystal?” I was like, “All right.” He was like, “Yeah, I was sitting around the table with all my friends and you just walked over, took the bottle of vodka off my table and walked away.” And I was like, “Yeah, that was sounds like me.” All right. Uh Shane, that was definitely me. I’d say uh so I said, “I owe you a drink, kid.” So tell him I if he’s listening, I still owe him that drink. Shane Larry. Yeah. You have a debt to pay to Shane Larry. Debt today. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. I think I was slagging him for the rest of the night. Then about the three-foot putt. said my my mother would have made that and he’s getting all his plaudit. No, but what he did was unreal obviously. Um but he’s a great character. He’s a lovely fellow. We had great great time over there.
