Three, two, one. Who were you expecting? I had no idea, but uh pleasantly surprised. Exactly one year ago, my brothers Benji and Nick set me up on a blind golf day. I had no idea it was coming, and it caught me completely off guard, and it was only seen by 4 million people. Today, with Nick’s help, it’s my turn to return the favor and set my brother Benji up on a blind golf date with his golf crush. We’ve been quietly looking for the right person to set him up with ever since that day. Benji’s also been super busy with work recently, so he hasn’t had a chance to go on many dates this year. How are we going to make sure Benji has no idea that we’re planning this considering we live together? And more importantly, how are we going to make sure his golf crush says yes to this? So, this is the plan. One, somehow convince Isa to agree to this date. How are you? Two, set up the date without Benji noticing. And finally, step number three, record the date and see just how nervous Benji gets when he realizes what’s going on. Let’s get into it with step number one, somehow convincing Isla to be a part of this video. Okay, so a couple months ago, Benji met this girl called Isa at a golf event, and we could tell that he thought she was pretty cute. So, before we reach out to Isa and ask if she wants to go on a blind date with Benji, we thought we’d run this idea past Amore, one of Benji’s best friends. And this is what he had to say about it. Nick and I are setting Benji up on a blind date for a golf match, but we just thought you are obviously really good friends with Benji. We’d want to get your take on what Benji’s dream girl is like. The two most important is one uh to be very athletic. And the second thing is that I think he is um likes ethnic girls, you know, have come from interesting backgrounds and not just your your classic um you know Oh, it’s amazing. As simple as you can put that. Her name is Isa. She’s half Japanese, half British, and she’s really good at golf. Did you guys just found his wife or what? How do you think Bendy’s going to react when he takes off his blindfold? is going to be so awkward. That’s what we’re saying. I think that’s that’s the biggest thing more so than this is like his loss of control is going to freak him out. Oh, fantastic. Oh, this is this amazing. I cannot wait to Oh, that is so good. But like a year ago, Benji Benji set me up on a blind date a year ago and I knew like nothing about it. I like really wanted to return the favorite to him and for like a year we’ve never like found the right person to do it with Kenji and I think you’re like a perfect person. Getting Benji to the golf course without him having a clue of what’s going on. This is our plan. One, convince Benji we’re filming a different video that day. Two, get him distracted on the range when we get there. Three, secretly sneak off to get Isla from the parking lot and bring her to the first tea box. Four, blindfold Benji. You’re going to get out of the golf cart and I’m going to put Isla next to him. Then we unfold the blindfold. Boom. And then Benji’s in love and they’re going to get married in like 3 years time. Thanks. Game over. All right. That’s I mean I don’t Is it There’s not a single flaw on this plan. Nah, that’s pretty. All right, let’s let’s do it. The plan here is to convince Benji that we’re filming a video with YouTube legend and ex-professional football player, Jimmy Bullard. So, we drafted up a fake text, chucked it in the group chat, and Benji took the bait right away. Sick. So, he’s excited. He’s going to want to do it. This is sick. And while Benji was away on a work trip, we had our weekly meeting and made sure he was available for Monday without arousing any suspicion. Oh, by the way, are you are you free on Monday? Uh, what time did he say? 4:00. You You have to be free. We This is one of those ones where we’re just like, “Can we just message Zack Benji to push the Monday meeting to Tuesday cuz we’re going to miss it.” And it it kind of like I mean it just feels like I don’t want to ask him to rearrange or something like that and then it’s bit off. Yeah, I guess I can ask her to do it later, I guess. But I have another call at like 8:30 that I can’t get out of, but I guess we’ll be back by then, right? Yeah. I mean, worst case, you can take it from the grove if like it really does end up being 18. Benji needs to say yes. Yeah. Okay. Cool. I’ll tell him that we’re in. Well, that went as well as it could have, but now the hardest part is still ahead of us. We arrived at the course and Benji had no idea what was going on whatsoever. But then we realized my phone was dead and I was the only person who could get in touch with Isla. So I had to go to the clubhouse and charge my phone whilst Nick was tasked with keeping Benji on the range. I’ve made it to the car park. Casper, our videographer, is here. So now we’re just waiting for Isa to arrive. She said she should be here in about 8 minutes. Benji thinks I’m currently running to get my phone because it’s run out of battery because Jimmy Bullard’s waiting for us apparently so I can text him. Benji had been at the range for a while now and he started to get suspicious. He actually walked off. Um, as soon as he gets here, I’ll send them the text to start their their side of the mission. You ready? I’m I’m I’m nervous. I don’t know why. I know. I don’t know why I’m so nervous. I reckon we should go back to the range. If Benji sees Casper or Isla, the whole surprise is off.
