[Music] Webster’s dictionary defines wedding as a fusing of two metals with a hot torch. Well, you know something? I think you guys are two medals. Gold medals. I know. I know. So cute. Thank you all for being here to celebrate this beautiful floor today with us. Looking out at all of you, I see family, friends, loved ones, all gathered here to support the two incredible people as they start their journey [Music] together. Today is a day that uh I’ve thought about since the moment Haley was born. Watching her grow up has been one of my greatest privileges. She has some Chicago, some Georgia, and some OIO in her. And today, as Jennifer and I look at her with Brett by her side, we’re excited about the future they will build. Haley is a special kind of friend. She is a role model and I look up to her so much. She always makes time for the people in her life. She is incredibly wise and gives the best advice. It’s not only what Haley is that makes her so special, but how she makes each and every one of us feel. [Music] Brett Smith Moran. I’m so thankful and thrilled that the day we’ve been waiting for and dreaming of for the past 8 years is finally here. It’s tough to put into words how much you mean to me, but I’m going to try my best. When we first met during our freshman year at UG, I somehow knew you were going to be someone very special in my life. You had that bright smile and a light-hearted, easygoing way about you that drew me in. And although it may have taken me a little while to say yes to dating, just know that when you asked me to marry you, it was the fastest and easiest and most confident yes I’ve ever said. And today, I could not be more excited to start this next chapter in our lives together. Haley Planton, H Blizzle, Plankton, Sweet Pea, Fiends, and soon to be my wife. Never been good at expressing just how much you mean to me with written words. So, hope this can make up for it all. It’s something you can look back on for the next thousand years. So, you can always remember that you are truly the most important, most beautiful, the best thing to ever come into my life. Not everyone can say that they’re about to marry their best friend. I can wholeheartly say that I actually am. And I love every minute that we are together. [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] When I think of the future, I don’t care where we end up living or what jobs we have. The only thing I envision is being with you no matter what. You look beautiful. Ready? Yes, I’m so ready. Thank you. Thank you. Good afternoon. We are gathered here today in the presence of God to celebrate one of life’s greatest moments, the union of two amazing people, Haley Planson and Brett Moran in Holy Matrimony. Holy Oh my god. You look beautiful. Holy This is crazy. It’s happening. I know. Oh my god. Look at you. Look at you little princess. You look really nice. You look very spooky. I’m trying to not make you cry. Don’t make me cry. Oh gosh. Wow. Look at you. Yeah, I love that so nicely. And now that we are almost married, cannot wait to plan the rest of our lives together. To continue to do every adventure together, to continue to struggle through this thing called life together, because if I ever feel lost or confused or distracted, can always look over at my sweet bee and come back to present. Looking into your messmerizing blue eyes, you feel comfort that at least I have you by my side. [Music] [Music] Marriage is a choice. A choice you make every day. Make time for each other, no matter how busy life gets. Continue to do the small things that make each other feel special. Love each other unconditionally. Be patient. Be kind. The love that brought you here today will continue to grow if you nurture it with care and understanding. I don’t know how I got so lucky to have won the lottery and found the most perfect, amazing, selfless, and thoughtful life partner. No matter where we go or what coastal town we decide to plant roots, as long as I’m with you, I’m confident I’m right where I need to be. Beyond that, in 50 years, when you’re peeking as a wise, grumpy old man, I know I’ll be right next to you holding your hand, probably laughing at whatever Hawaiian shirt you picked out that day. And if we’re lucky enough to live to be 100, it still won’t feel nearly enough time on the earth with [Music] you. I now pronounce you man and wife. Brett, you may kiss your bride. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s my honor and privilege to announce to the first time Mr. and Mrs. Brett and Haley [Music] Moran. We watch the hours go across a faded show. There’s nothing better than the feeling of another life. Just staying up at night and never breaking sight is hard enough to say what we do. Thing is about these two is they always have a smile on their face. They’ve been through a lot. They’ve been through life’s challenges. They’ve been through college, which is a chaotic time. They’ve been through long distance. It’s not easy. And the whole time that I’ve known them, they’ve had a smile on their face. I’ve never seen two people more dedicated to one [Music] another. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Brent, you compliment Haley so perfectly with your kindness, sense of humor, and your sincerity. I have no doubt that the two of you will absorb every moment of love, laughter, joy, and warmth that comes your way. [Music] Haley, as parents, we could not ask for a better partner for you.
