Signage is now up for Quincy’s Golf & Social at 245 Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg, where the country club style restaurant, bar, and golf venue is taking over the former Not Your Average Joe’s space.

Construction is ongoing and no opening date has been announced, but the new signage marks the first visible sign of progress at the site.

As previously reported, fans of the original Quincy’s at 616 Quince Orchard Rd will be glad to know there are no plans to close the existing bar and grill. Ownership believes both locations are sustainable due to their different concepts.

Quincy’s was approached by a golf professional who will operate the golf side of the business. The venue will utilize the Trackman system for games, lessons, practice, and more. Trackman will also support leagues that allow customers to compete with players across the country and the world, similar to offerings at existing venues like Five Iron Golf in Baltimore, D.C., and other cities. Quincy’s Club House will even allow matchups against their members.

Non-golfers will have plenty to enjoy as well. Quincy’s Club House will feature a full-service restaurant and bar, offering weekday breakfast and a “heavy brunch” on weekends. New cocktails and higher-end wine selections will be added to the existing drink menu. A Boar’s Head deli will be available, and the dinner menu will include steak, seafood, pasta, and more.

Leagues, memberships, club fittings, and private lessons will all be part of the offerings. A private simulator area will also be available for businesses and organizations to host team-building events or special gatherings. Each simulator station will include couches, TVs (for watching games or communicating with opponents), and the option to switch between a driving range or simulated courses from around the world.
