I finally tested these shoes and they are so good. Yesterday I took them on a 23 km run and I was thoroughly impressed. Almost the perfect rest day is shoe. They were so fast, protective and very easy to bounce along. Old sneakers on dreams in your breathing deep. Maybe it ain’t fast. Maybe it ain’t loud, but you’re moving forward. And that’s what counts. Keep running. Even when it’s hard. One foot, one beat, one faithful heart. The road gets long, the days go quick, but years from now, you’ll be glad you didn’t quit. It’s not about pace, it’s about the ride. Keep running. You’re building your pride. This is the Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 3, and late in 2025, they are still very relevant. Issues have been out for almost a year now. In this environment, the price has remained very high. I think up until last month, they were still at $1,350 Saudi real, and that’s approximately $359. As a casual runner and shoe reviewer who isn’t yet really earning on YouTube, I couldn’t really bring myself to spend that much on a pair of shoes. But I saw this on my app on Black Friday for 540 Saudi real, approximately $143, and I said, why not? I can use this opportunity to pick up these shoes and see what they really have to offer. My usual 44.5 or US size 11 in Puma was not available. So I picked up size 11.5 or EU45. I was afraid they will be too big but good thing they were not. This one fit me very well. Just a little long if I may say because I have a full breath at the tip of my toes. Sizing up actually gave me a better room in the toe box making them more comfortable. So I like it. For size 11.5 these are weighing 220 g per shoe. So once again, they’ve made them super light because it means that my usual size size 11 would have probably been in the range of 28 210 g. One of the lightest race day shoes. Looking at them, you notice that the upper is thin and soft and very breathable. It looks and feels tough. They feel so comfortable around the feet, too. No gimmicks in the lace gauge. Simple and does a very nice job maintaining a nice midfoot lock down. The standard laces work well enough. Through 23 km, they held tight. I didn’t have to retie my shoes. The tongue has light padding, very soft that give very nice comfort under the laces. They are not gseted, but they have double lace loops that helps to keep them in place. And to be real, through 23 km, I did not experience any tongue slide. For a race day shoe, it’s got a decent collar and heel counter padding, especially in the upper part here. And they do a great job holding the heel down in the shoe, maintaining a nice lock down. The toe box room is excellent for my regular feet. Though, like I mentioned earlier, I did go half a size up. Now the midsole of these shoes is where the magic happens. This has the nitro elite foam composed of alifhatic TPU. The baseline TPU that most people are using is the aromatic TPU. The alifhatic TPU is a little more expensive, is more resilient, and more resistant to chemical and ultraviolet radiation damage. It feels soft but not too soft. Standing on them, you don’t feel like you are really sinking into it like you feel in things like the Blade 1 and 1.5 or the Nike Zoom X. This one is slightly firmer. Feels more like the Addios Pro 3. It feels very comfortable under foot whether you are running or walking and very protective too. The foam may feel kind of firm but it is very very protective. Honestly, my knees never felt better after a 23 km run than they did with this shoe. The stack height is just at the legal limit. 40 mm in the heel, 32 in the foroot. So whether you are landing on your heel or foroot, there’s enough foam under foot for a comfortable landing. The high point of these shoes is really the lightness and the rebound. At 220 grams per shoe in US size 11.5, these shoes are super light and on feet they also feel the same, very light. The response is really amazing. So the combination of lightweight and bounce made them an excellent rest issue. I easily ran sub 25 minutes 5k on my first run without much stress. Another nice touch in this shoe is the stability. Much better than in the previous version and much better than most race day shoes too. The full length carbon plate and the femoroam all helped. I guess for me who needs a little bit of pronation control, they were perfect. After 23 km, my feet felt great. I feel like the 4ft rocker is just at the right point, making transitions and toe off smoother. The plate added the predictable stiffness with quick energy transfer from landing to toe off, adding that snappy ride. The outsole is the famous Puma grip, and of course, they did deliver an excellent traction throughout my run in them. Overall, these shoes gave a very light, fast and stable ride. Almost the perfect race day shoe. I feel that with this, I have gotten the shoes for my next marathon. This shoe is almost a year old and I guess that very soon they are going to be making the version 4. I feel that’s why this one is going on a discount on many platforms. Now, if you are in the market for a race station, something that can help you get a PB and you see this at a good price, do not hesitate. One year after this is still one of the best out there in the market. One thing I didn’t even mention is that this is an out and out restation. It was difficult to really run easy in this. They just had that feeling of go. Immediately you are landing they are throwing you up. They just want you to keep going. So this is an out and out rest issue guys and that’s just what you are going to do with this speed runs, speed training, rest day. That’s what they are designed for and that’s what you’re getting. So that’s it for this one guys. You know, I just decided to share my experience despite the fact that these shoes has been out in the market for a long time. This is the first time I’m running in them. Thanks for watching all the same and thanks for all your support. Thanks for subscribing. 1. Near perfection. How on earth will puma improve on them 🤷 keep up the good work sir.

  2. I love this shoes more than my Adios Pro 4

Adios Pro 4 too soft, lose pop after 150km and too sink for my weight 75kg

DNE3 and Adios Pro 3 my favourite race shoes

You should try Kiprun Kd900x.2, a great2 shoes
