This might be one of the harshest penalties John Rom has ever received. 2020 Memorial Tournament final round. Rahm pulls off an unbelievable chip on the 16th and celebrates rightfully so. But moments later, he’s hit with a two-stroke penalty because of what the cameras captured. In the slow motion replay, his club lightly brushes the grass behind the ball, causing the ball to move ever so slightly. Rahm didn’t feel it at all, but under rules 9.4 four and 14.7. That tiny movement still counts. [Music]
