[Music] All right. What’s up everybody? Welcome back. So, we out here. We’re about to try to beat the weather. We got a brand new one from Onyx. We got the Onyx enough set. This is a Nick Price signature balance bat 13 and 12 in barrel soft uh knob with a thin handle. Y’all stay tuned, man. We on a big field like $330 line of 410 death center. [ __ ] that. All right, let’s do it. everybody. So, hey, we got the Nick Price again. Um, so far with some of the Onyx bats that came out, we’ve been big fans. So, this is a longer barrel balance in a 27. So, I don’t really swim balance. I think Scooby and Joe might probably have more success with this, but hey y’all, let’s see what it do. Okay. 100 miles hour. 100. Second swing. 98 miles hour. 88 miles hour. Got that one. That was a [ __ ] bomb right there, bro. That’s going to get a lot of 89 miles hour. 99 miles hour. 97 miles hour. I’m coming around a little quick with it. Yeah, a little bit. But um 27. Oh, but the technology feels good. Even the ones that comes out low in the barrel still performing pretty good. 98 miles hour. Two more. 93. Good lord. Right there is it, brother. I don’t care. All right, last one. There you go, boy. There you go. [ __ ] That was good. I did challenge Harvey in a derby. Damn, that was good. Hop in. 82 miles hour. 84 miles hour. Hey, great charact a little bit though. 97 miles hour. That’s a good swing, bro. 97 miles hour. 95 miles hour. 93 miles hour. This man is so like bal. This is so bal for the brand. This is so val 360 97 miles hour and then center field 87 miles hour about the same as that one over there. Hey to hit the edge of the tennis court you guys 360 320 hour. So give or take from where I drop the spin at Yeah. So give or take where I dropped the pin at home. G hitting it today, boy. Probably about 325. 101 miles hour. 101. 93 miles hour. 99 miles hour. Loud as hell, bro. Damn, that sounded loud. That sounded real loud. Big barrel. 86 miles hour. 86 mph barrel. Got a different sound every swing. And it carries too, bro. 91 miles hour. That was handled. 96 miles hour. 96. 90 miles hour. [ __ ] Just walk off. Just walk off. Just walk off, J. Walk off. Got to keep you pumping. I like 83 more consistent the other day. That’s good. Damn. Jo get you something, dog. Look at Joe, dog. I mean, Joe got the whole damn outfit to match your bat, bro. Chef, act like he didn’t dress to hit this bat, dog. Huh? Act like my boy Joe didn’t dress up to hit this back. I did bring my shirt though. I mean, but I I brought the wrong one. I brought the long sleeve right back side of that. The back side of that court is 410 ft. They both look like bomb pops, bro. Yeah. 86 miles hour. It knows 390, but where I dropped the pin 72 miles hour. Oh yeah. 300. Hey, these are the fields that’ll humble you, bro. 77 is the waiting of that one personally. 83 miles hour. Same bat with a mid load in it. Bro, that was one of my more favorite bats. Jo, whiskey, boy. 98 miles hour. [Music] 81. That was that was incaping out this guy. Like I I got to wait back just a little bit. But that thing jumping, man. He did. [Music] 103 miles hour 103. You who catching that? Ain’t nobody catching that [ __ ] 101 miles hour off the grass. Uh 93 miles hour. Did you? 90 miles hour. I mean, you missed that one. That didn’t feel like barrel at all. No, you hit down low a little bit. Still hit. Not damn good back. Not even my size. 93 miles hour. You ain’t even spun that good. I hit 812. 88 miles hour. Oh yeah, that’s carried. That’s good. Oh wow. Good. That sounds better though. The 27 oz coming in at 26.6 right at 200. All right. What’s up everybody? So, we just finished up the swings on another Onyx Enough set. This is the Nick Price signature balance model. Okay. So, we swung a 27 ounce. Let’s start going over the numbers and everything. So, we have a balanced bat. We have a 13 and 12 in barrel. A lot of barrel. Um, a lot of barrel, a lot of sweet spot. Very forgiving. Great performance down here. Even good performance towards the end. Don’t like hitting the balls off the end, but still sometimes that happen. You will miss. Never ever vibrated the hand. Never shocked it. Huge, huge fans of the new thin handle. Kind of goes into that cone grip with this soft knob. Um, like I said, I think this is probably probably the thinnest handle that you will find on the market. Um, so when we scaled it, it scaled a little bit on the lighter side, but when we went ahead and did the end weight, listen to these numbers now. So on the end weight, we had a 165 on the hands, 100 right on the hand. So, when it comes to Onyx, um, when all the Onyx bats that we swung, Onyx has always been very aggressive with loading their bats. This is the first balance bat that we saw from Onyx that truly feels as close to balance as possible. When we saw the green enough set, which was balanced, that still felt like it had a little bit more butt. It felt closer to a half oz endo, but this is a true balance bat. Um, and I know it’s balanced because even some of my initial swings, I was very early. I was so far ahead. The bat swing was real fast. Once I was able to time it up pretty good, was able to get some good barrel. Great performance on the baseball field. I mean, that that baseball field was huge. Um, one person I want to mention more in this video, Scobby. Scobby is very old school with bats because we got to a point now where all these senior bats are real good. But, you know, he said something to me off camera which makes sense where he’s like to him the true measure nowadays with these bats is are we going to get three 400 swings? But what I will say is um if you go out there trying to put three 400 swings on a bat back to back to back, you’re probably going to end up breaking it. Also, the balls that you hit, some balls get water logged, some balls get heavy, sometimes hit classic hands, sometimes you hit harder balls. That does impact. I cut the ball. So, I don’t hit the ball square in the face with a bat. So, even though I do hit the ball somewhat hard, I get a lot of swings out of these bats. So far, between this bat, the Derek Williams, and the uh Jen Adams, which I call the Peaches and Cream, um we have not had any durability issues. The Derek Williams I do have has over 200 swings. Even this bat has 100 swings and those are hard aggressive swings between myself, Jean, Joe, and Scobby. So, we definitely did not hold back. So, Onyx has been very transparent with the durability on their bats. They don’t say, “Hey, you know, our bats are made for BP.” What I will say is when it tested 225, within the first five swings, I felt like it was already game ready performance. So to put a 100 swings on it and get it from 225 and still hold it at 200, the compression is not falling as fast as some of the senior bats out there or even some of the older Onyx out there. Another thing I will say, this barrel, I would say this barrel is definitely more on the crisper side. So I would say more like a medium hard barrel, you know, but it definitely has that rebound. Love this Spin Tech. Like I said, they put a light nice light spin tech on it, so it doesn’t grab the ball too much, but it does generate and get generate that back spin real good on the ball. Overall, I think now what they’re doing is they have kind of dabbed in the market to make it a bat for your preference. So, if you want a if you have short barrel B with a half end load, try the Derek Williams. If you like short barrel but you want mid loop, the Jen Adams long barrel balance, you got the Nick Price. I’m sure they got some other stuff coming out there as well, man. But again, this was a fun fun balance bat. Got some good bo. We had some balls that well over 400 ft um in the video. I know Jean hit a couple. Scobby hit a few. I was able to hit like one or two, one or three with it as well, man. So overall is a senior bat. Haven’t swung a bad senior bat in a long time. So I guess right now we’re just to the point to where it’s a preference. But the the biggest improvement that they do have is on their durability. They’re performing. They don’t get as soft. The durability is better. Not saying that, hey, I don’t know if I’m going to get a thousand swings. If I get a thousand swings out of any senior bat, I’ll probably question it. But performance right away, good durability and no signs, no signs of spider webbing or stretch marks or anything. Hopefully, we give you um all the information you need. Another thing I will say, man, the jersey that I’m wearing, um if you go I know a lot of people are asking about jerseys and everything. Well, I was able to collab with Elite Sports. 1. The durability on these bats are seemingly lasting longer. My JLew is webbed like crazy after 100 hits. My DWill has 300 swings and no webbing. Is it possible to do a video showing these bats with 2-300 of your swings to see how they hold up. Appreciate everything you do.

  2. Thanks for the review on that bat. I am working on getting my Onyx Rev game ready–I have a 27 oz and 25 oz, I have been trying to switch to a end loaded bat after swinging the Dudley balanced bats. Has been difficult but now that Onyx has a balanced bat—-Oh My Goodness!! Thanks again.
