Of course, Scottie Scheffler pulled this off … what an ace.

Although Scottie Scheffler hasn’t teed it up in a PGA Tour event since claiming the Procore Championship in September, the No. 1-ranked player in the world still managed to pull off one of the most remarkable achievements in golf.

As Sami Valimaki claimed the RSM Classic, the 2025 PGA Tour campaign officially slammed shut Sunday. With the final numbers etched in stone, Scheffler is now the new owner of one of the most bizarre — and brilliant — stats you’re ever likely to see in professional golf. Per golf stats guru Justin Ray, Scheffler wrapped up the 2025 season as the PGA Tour’s scoring-average leader in all four rounds — first, second, third and fourth.

The last man to pull that off?

Tiger Woods in 2000, when he won three majors by a combined 17 strokes and was basically playing a different sport than everyone else.

With the RSM Classic complete, statistical races for the 2025 PGA Tour season are now officially over.

Scottie Scheffler officially led the Tour in round 1, round 2, round 3 and round 4 scoring in 2025.

Over the last 40 years, Tiger Woods in 2000 is the only other to do that.

It’s crazy to me how great Scottie Scheffler was this season. He racked up six wins in 20 tournaments, which featured The Open and PGA Championship victories. On top of that, he finished in the Top 10 a total of 17 times. The dude literally wins 30% of the time.

And now he has this gem of a statistic on his resume? … Lord have mercy.
