Designer: Greg Norman, one of golf’s most famous names, brought his “least disturbance” philosophy here — shaping the 18 holes around existing dunes, arroyos, and desert terrain instead of bulldozing everything flat.
Setting: The course stretches across an 834-acre coastal community about 10–15 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas, with Pacific views on virtually every hole.
Yardage: Around 7,200 yards from the back tees, giving better players plenty of bite while still offering playable options from forward tees.
Solmar isn’t just pretty — it’s also one of Cabo’s greenest golf stories. It was the first course in Los Cabos to earn Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary status, a recognition held by fewer than 1,000 courses worldwide.
