The Youngstown State women’s golf team is scheduled to compete in six events from early February to late April during the spring portion of its 2025-26 season. Head Coach Nate Miklos announced the team’s complete spring schedule on Tuesday.

“We have a great spring schedule ahead of us,” said Miklos. “We made a couple changes compared to last year including the addition of a match play event at The Citadel as well as Eastern Kentucky’s event. We are very excited to be returning to Howard and Ohio State and to be hosting our YSU Spring Invitational at Trumbull Country Club for the first time. This schedule will challenge us and provide some great opportunities throughout the spring before head to Mission Resort + Club for the Horizon League Championship.”

The Penguins will begin the spring portion and championship segment of their 2025-26 season on Feb. 9-10 with The Oyster Shuck Match Play hosted by The Citadel at Charleston Municipal Golf Course in Charleston, S.C. YSU will return to traditional stroke play for the remainder of the campaign, beginning March 2-3 with the Howard Lady Bison Intercollegiate at Hawkstone Country Club in Gainesville, Fla.

After breaking from competition for nearly four weeks, Youngstown State will resume its spring slate on March 30-31 with the EKU Colonel Classic at The University Club at Arlington in Richmond, Ky. The Penguins will then play host to the YSU Spring Invitational on April 5-6 at Trumbull Country Club in Warren, Ohio.

YSU’s final tournament before the Horizon League Championships will be Ohio State’s Therese Hession Buckeye Invitational on April 17-18 at The Ohio State University Golf Club’s Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. The 2026 Horizon League Golf Championships will take place April 25-27 from the El Campeon Course at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla.
