did you know why this boxer ran away from his fight against Mike Tyson that night Andrew galot was hated by all boxing fans as he didn’t let Iron Mike finish the fight by knockout but in fact Andrew didn’t chicken out the reason was quite different Goot started the fight well that night controlling the distance with his front hand and preventing Mike from developing his offense but in the last seconds of the first round Andrew missed a punch Tyson landed a powerful right hook that sent the pole to the floor during the break galot complained to his team about the severe pain but no one would listen to him and forced him to continue the fight Andrew was able to hold out for one more round but after the third round he still decided to leave the ring after the fight galot was taken to the hospital there it turned out that galot suffered a concussion a fracture of the left cheekbone and a herniated disc in the cervical region it took him 3 years to recover

  1. Mike was on marijuana in that fight so it was turned to a no contest so yeah a lot of was smart for not letting Mike finish the Fight

  2. If you watch how Tyson was talking in the lead up to this fight, you know Golota made the right decision.

  3. I don’t remember his name. One of Canelo’s opponents quit on the stool. He had a fractured cheek bone as well. No one through garbage. There was a Mexican fighter, “El Perro” who didn’t quit and his face looked like a Halloween mask after Cuban Boxer “
Lara broke his cheekbone/orbital. People forget athletes of this caliber know their body better than anyone else. THEY KNOW when something isn’t correct, off, or going to death’s doorstep.

  4. The reason was my brother Mike wanted to damage his bond's that day, he really knew Mike was in a big anger,
Mike warned him that it's a serious business, when golata was laughing? That run was good for you Mr pilose boxer,,,
Iron Mike ❤ u brother always

  5. Mike Tyson made him quit call it what it is he left cuz he smart he left cuz he had to and was weak and broken!!!

  6. It’s crazy Mike Tyson said he was gonna hurt him he said he wanted to destroy his health and I came here to see what happen and Mike did not disappoint

  7. Golota should've gone out to fight and once he gets hit by Tyson, STAY THE FUCK DOWN!!! That way you don't go out as a coward.

He will always be known as the boxer that gave up no matter how you slice it.

I hope he doesn't become a firefighter as he will refuse to enter a burning building.

  8. That's what he gets for punching all those other boxers in the nuts and headbutts he's a dirty fighter a coward and Tyson taught him a lesson I'm glad finally this coward got what he deserves

  9. NEVER should have been in there with Tyson, he lacked the skill to fight at this level. Yeah, he was right to quit-but the fight never should have happened. Not until Golota was more experienced and seasoned. His manager rushed him into something he was not ready for.

  10. Good call. He saved himself from life threatening damage and took 3 years in recovery. Never judge a person early.
Look at the results. The facts will tell the truth.

  11. I understand Andrew, you did the smart thing, you possibly prevented irreversible physical rehabilitation.😊

  12. He had horrible people in his corner. Didn't think of his safety first, how sad. Good for him,he had to think for himself because nobody else did.
