The Town of Cutler Bay’s popular seasonal event, the Holiday Celebration and Golf Cart Parade, will return on Saturday, Dec. 13, taking place at Cutler Ridge Park, 10100 SW 200 St., from 6 to 10 p.m. The event features many family-friendly activities and admission is free.

In addition to the annual golf cart parade, in which residents decorate their carts and other vehicles in holiday style and drive around the area to return to Cutler Ridge Park, there will be a number of other activities. There will be the opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus, play in holiday inflatables, get the kids decorated with makeup by face painters, and eat at a variety of food trucks which will be participating. Items from the food trucks are available for purchase.

Town manager Rafael G. Casals said it’s one of the town’s most popular events.

“The holiday event is one of our signature events in which residents, friends and neighbors gather to celebrate the holidays and donate toys toward a wonderful organization – Community Health of South Florida Inc.,” Casals said. “Every year this event attracts over 300 decorated golf carts and residents of all ages get to enjoy music, face painting, photos with Santa Claus and much more for free.”

For the toy drive, residents are invited to donate new unwrapped toys to “bring a smile to a special child this season.”

Schedule for the holiday golf cart parade:
5 p.m.: Holiday golf cart parade lineup opens in the West Soccer Field at Cutler Ridge Park.
5:50 p.m.: Line up closes (Line up may close sooner, once 300 golf carts are assembled — whichever comes first).
6 p.m.: Parade promptly begins.

The full parade route will be announced soon.
